  • Super thrilled it fit!
I took a shot that this would fit the deer stand we erected 10 years ago. It fit like a glove! The first shelter lasted more than 6 years so I expect this one will too. Minnesota seasons, snow, sun and rain …..we never removed it. Good product.

  • only lasted 10 days
I bought this for 1st season shot gun deer hunting. I put it up on November 27th. We had good weather but one night and day we had gust up to 45MPH when a cold front came in. When I got to my blind on opening day December 3rd it was pretty much destroyed. the North side window had the elastic button pulled out of the side and then that left the window zipper go down and put the wind inside. My old one lasted for 2 years but this one did not last a season. It is well designed but not made for any type of wind. I cannot put it up each day and take it down, takes to long. ... show more

  • Lasted 1 month in open field. Instructions need correction.
Kind of expensive for what it is. The instructions did have some errors regarding the orientation of the risers bars connecting to the angled roof bars. the directions show the angled roof bars on the outside of the riser bars, but if you do that, the rafter bars will not stretch the distance across the top. So make sure you mount the angled roof bars on the inside of the riser bars. The only other modification I did due to snow here, is added some light weight plywood to span the rafters. That way, the snow and rain will not pool up and stretch or tear the fabric. I would also recommend spraying with outdoor fabric spray for uv and waterproofing. Update: DOWNGRADED TO 1 Star!!! I installed this in my hunting location, and it didn't last a week. The corners tore out first due to wind, even though I taped all metal corners and secured as per instructions. All the tie downs tore out, allowing all the walls to blow where they may. Patching it with Gorilla Duct tape every day I went out got it through the rest of the season, but it was a total waste of money. You'd be better off with a cheap popup blind than this thing. (Which is what I did, and worked well.) ... show more

  • You cant Just Buy the Fabric part of the Tent. You have to purchase the metal framing and all..
I Purchased this 12 ' 2 man stand and enclosure.. the Stand was a bit confusing putting together but i Figured it out... after bringing this to the woods and standing it up. I starting putting the enclosure together then slid the tent over it. Was a pretty nice looking set up.. i Deer Hunted and Hog Hunted out of this for a few Months... the wind would come up from under neath the floor mesh so i carpeted the floor saved a ton of wind exposure.. the tie straps started tearing and you could see stress in the plastic Fabric. From wind blowing it around.. the worst part was the Roof. When it rained it would hold water on the Roof would sag down with water in between the metal Joist. Eventually i couldnt be there everytime it poured out to push up on roof to Drain.. eventually tearing.... i went to purchase a new tent only. I dont need the Metel Frame. They dont sell just tent. Had to buy framing i dont even need at $169.00. Crazy. What a waist.. tent only should be able to Buy for $70 or so. I Dont need the whole dang metal frame.. then they told me to take metel frame apart and resend back to recieve a new top. I said frame is fine just send tent .. they wouldnt do that. ... show more

  • Blends in well
Bought this for my son his blind is in the woods and this is hard to see even in the winter when the leaves are practically gone. Keeps you dry when rain comes.

  • Poor customer service from the manufacturer
Went together pretty easy compared to the platfom portion. . . . except the entire package of nuts/bolt/washers was missing. Contacted the manufacturer, well, attempted to contact the manufacturer, to have them send me a package to assemble. They don't return phone calls, they don't respond to emails, they even blew off the company (Sportsmans Guide) that sells them for them. Ended up just buying what I needed from a hardware store and Sportsmans Guide gave me a break on the price. That was my inital deal. Then, the off season happened. It gets pretty windy here, the entire frame is sitting alongside the house, without the cover, and looking like a pretzel. Sturdy: NOT! And for something that's supposed to mount on the platform. . . . much lacking. The instructions, well, just glad I had help to read them. Sportsmans Guide was they seller, they were awesome, did everything they could to help. The company that makes them. . . . . nada. If you need anything from them, good luck. ... show more

  • Not worth it
First little bit of wind and half of the tie downs that fasten the blind to the platform ripped out. I haven’t sat in it for deer season yet. Pretty disappointed. I feel like this is the first design and has a lot room to improve, but as of right now, it’s not worth having.
