If it weighed less it would be perfect. The only issues it has are the weight is a bit much and the swivel feet clank while you carry it. Otherwise it is extremely comfortable and quiet to sit in!

    • A little squeak
It worked great and was comfortable. A little bit of a pain to carry because the strap broke about 10 feet into my walk. Also is pretty noisy but you get what you pay for. I still use it and just sprayed some lithium grease around the rotating assembly. Will be using again this deer season.

I have 3 of these chairs. They're sturdy and quiet. Good stability. Perfect size and height for hunting. Two of them I've had for about 5 years. One in a box blind outside 24/365. They're fantastic for the price.

My wife and I bought this for my Father-in-law. He's getting older and prefers not to go into a treestand. This is the perfect chair to keep him comfortable (i.e. sleeping) in his blind. I've used the fold out tripod stools w/ and w/o backrests and they work, but this is no comparison. For the price it is good quality, very comfortable, and provides plenty of clearance for shooting a bow, even a recurve, from the seated position. You can't beat that this thing swivels. Seems quiet and very nice. I'll probably buy another for myself eventually ... you just cant go wrong. Armrests would be nice, but would make shooting a bow a pain. This is a perfect compromise. I was worried the chair might be a bit small, but he's a bigger guy, about 225# and not very tall and he found it plenty large and comfortable. ... show more

    • Carrying strap clips are junk.
Chair is heavier than would like. Carrying strap loops are plastic. One was broken upon delivery. The other broke while carrying to the garage. The chair otherwise seems good quality. Yet to use for hunting.

Got this to combo with my ghost blind. Folds easily. Not too heavy to transport. If you are using this for hunting, be careful, it can be fairly loud when opening up.

    • For small adults only
Checked this out before Whitetail season began but never used it. The seating area is way too short. I'm 6' and it only reaches about halfway on my thighs - no way this would be comfortable for a sit in the woods. A young adult or someone 5' 6" or less might be comfortable on this seat. The material is slippery and the angle of the seatback is strange. It also isn't very wide. The carrying straps use plastic clips which I guarantee will break as this is a reasonably heavy chair. I had another brand of chair (returned) that had the clips break the first time I slung it over my shoulder. For the price, a pretty cheaply made chair.
