Easy to assemble, easy to hang. Nice light weight, especially considering how durable it feels. Honestly, I see and feel no difference between this stand and any other name brand ladder stands I have. When the time comes, I will definitely be buying more of these instead of going to Bass Pros. Side note, the bolts and screws are a little difficult to get organized at first, but once you get started assembling you realize there's not a whole lot to it. Simple and quick to put together. Definitely worth every penny!

My first tree stand! I had this stand for three seasons. For this price it served me well. The instructions for assembly were a little difficult to understand but I finally got it together. After three seasons the seat mesh is done (ripped in the back where it goes over the two side bars and this stand is definitely NOT for Bow Hunting: the foot rest is too small to comfortably switch shooting posistions. If you are a mostly hunting with the rifle/ shotgun this is a great beginner stand for the price.

Boy did I get screwed on this stand. Did not open the box to check it out because it was going to be transported out of state, figured it would be easier for transport. Opened it up today to put together and set it up and there where bolts, note, nothing, and 3 parts missing. Had to rig, and fab to make it work. An hour job took all day. No straps either. I guess was no quality control what so ever. Did not buy from these people.

Not sure if it was shipped intact and it was messed up en route or if it the problem started at Guide Gear with this item. When the box was opened (which was covered in a suspicious amount of clear packing tape) discovered that the instructions and padding for the shooting rail were missing. Also seems that several bolts were not included or the wrong number of specific bolts didn't get added. Without instructions had to rely on the product picture provided with the Amazon listing. Was able to assemble the stand but took WAY TOO long and wasn't able to add the shooting rail or seat support. Have read other reviews and several have a common theme of missing parts and directions. In hindsight should have done that 1st but was looking for a backyard practice set up. Once placed and secured, does the job. IF another Guide Gear item is considered for purchase will be reading reviews prior to adding to cart.

I bought three and checked to make sure all pieces and hardware were there before putting together. I had no issues on any of them and instructions were very good. These are cheap Chinese stands but get the job done. Platform is super small so archery hunters might want to consider a different style.
