These are comfy, cute, stylish, sturdy (and hopefully durable)...I could probably think of a million different words to describe how much I love these shoes, but I'll stop now. I ordered a 7 (my usual size), and they fit perfectly, so I can definitely say that they are true to size. I have relatively narrow feet, so I appreciate the shape of the shoe, as sometimes my feet feel like scuba flippers in wider sandals. The strap is a nice touch as well, because I was able to adjust my shoes throughout the day as my feet swell from walking. They are a heavier shoe, but I feel like a lot of the popular styles these days are, so it doesn't bother me. I think it's one of those things that you just end up getting used to (but I will say driving in these and any heavier sandal is definitely a learning curve). I think for $109 (or the sale price of 70ish dollars), this is a pretty decent sandal, especially for a popular brand like this. I can sometime be pretty cheap but I feel like with this sandal, you get both quality and the brand. One thing, that I really loved, is the design on the sole of the shoe. I've never seen anything like that and I felt like it really elevated the sandle while providing some good grip at the same time.

I am seeing many versions of this sandal by well known brands at major department stores. Guess has elevated this style by adding their signature logo on the strap and embossed on the soles. This has a square toe with a band across the top of the foot that is not adjustable. The ankle straps offer two points of adjustability to get a custom fit. The leather- like upper is very soft and durable and should hold up well and can be wiped off as needed. The insole offers a slight amount of cushioning, but the sole is a soft rubber offering plenty of shock absorption. I chose the 7.5 and that’s my usual size and they fit perfectly. However, I find the strap that goes across the foot at the toe could cause issues for those with slightly wider feet, as it’s not adjustable. I really like the Ivory color as it’s neutral and versatile & will look nice with many outfits. My husband likes this style and said they look almost like tennis shoes from a distance. They truly are an elevated athletic style sandal. In regards to ease of walking, it may require an adjustment period to get used to the chunky sole to avoid tripping.

Even though this style of sandal is similar to the known hiking shoes, I'd leave these in the closet if doing a lot of walking. They are fashionable and fun but I felt they were also a bit heavy and chunky. Fun for some time on the town or a semi casual event, just not for your everyday outdoor wear and tear. I selected my typical size and these fit very well. They do have Velcro straps to allow for adjustments.

I contemplated the purchase for a long time the sandals is beautiful. But I did a test walk in the house for a day and man the straps are so sharp on the corners of the big toes and where the metal rest on the top of feet. I'm so disappointed I bought some padding hoping it will not rub so much. I will try walk in it another day when my bruises are heeled and see how it feels with the pads. I'm hopeful that with enough wear it adjust more to my feet. Or I might change my mind and return it.

A little bigger than I thought. My she size usually runs a woman's 10-11 in this style I should have chosen the 10. Luckily the straps are adjustable and I could make them a little tighter. For me, these shoes are better with socks. After a neighborhood walk I did not blister, but I did feel the strap wearing into the top of my feet. It was better wearing my socks. I do believe the quality is good. they have a thick bottom that raises my height and they do weigh more than my other sandals. The stitching, and Velcro are good quality. The faux leather's color is consistent, there is no fading or variance.

I was really looking forward to receiving these because I have admired Guess brand products for decades. Unfortunately, these sandals were a huge disappointment. Out the box, they are way too heavy, making it tiresome to walk in and to keep them on for long periods of time. Secondly, they're not very attractive to the eye. Sort of clumpy, chunky, and archaic designed. I regret this purchase.

If you're a long distance walker or on your feet for many hours, this may be the right shoe to wear due to the thick sole. Otherwise, these are very odd looking and so heavy to walk in and didn't feel as comfortable as expected. I have mobility issues so anything heavy or excessive thick sole is too difficult for me to walk safely in. I instantly thought of ancient Egyptian wear when these arrived; after trying them on, those near me said the same thing. The sizing is correct, the ankle and back band is adjustable although the front is not and unfortunately a tad tight. The leather and base use quality materials. The ivory color is more of a khaki tone.
