UPDATE: APR 24, 2019 After getting used to this watch I absolutely fell in love with it. The watch was small enough to wear for dress occasions (I'm 5'7" so size is relative), and sporty enough for everyday wear. I've worn it almost daily for 2-1/2 years and the gold-tone is just now starting to fade and the battery needs replacing. I'm looking for a new watch, but seriously, I'm thinking of purchasing this same one; it is that timeless. This is nice but, honestly, it is not the size of a Rolex as one commenter said. It is much bigger and heavier but it is trendy without being overly so. It does make a nice boyfriend style watch keeping in mind that I am on the large boned size. I had my jeweler take out one link that made the bracelet the proper length for me to give me that below the wrist bracelet style and when it is up above my wrist bone there is enough room to get my fingers between my wrist and the band, again giving the trendy boyfriend look. Now, all that being said, the gold one that I purchased, while being a bit more trendy than I desired, has a very classic, elegant look to it and I find that I don't mind the trendy. It is great for daytime and informal nighttime but I wouldn't wear it to a formal occasion, too big and gaudy for that. ... show more

I purchased this watch for my everyday use. It came nicely packed in a thick box which a watch pillow inside. I was able to set it up easily when I got on the website. It was too large, which no big deal, I planned on taking it to a jeweler to have a link or 2 removed. But with my busy schedule, I kept forgetting. So I purchased a watch link removal kit. This is a lovely, affordable watch with just the right amount of heft and bling for a woman's wrist. The clasp is very secure, which is comforting, because I've had watches that easily come unclasped. Word of warning about this watch: the band is very long. The watch would have fallen right off my hand. My wrists aren't especially narrow, but I had to take the watch to a jeweler and pay to have several links removed from the band, which tacked another $25 onto the overall cost. It was worth it to me, because I really like the watch and will wear it for years, but it was an added, unexpected expense. ... show more
