  • Pretty cool little dishwasher
Color: White
Gudsunal Countertop Dishwasher is a fairly light weight portable dishwater - it’s about 30 pounds and it’s pretty simple to set up. I did not hook it up to the faucet as I live in an apartment and I didn’t want to mess with the plumbing. So I used the tank version. If you don’t use the tank version you don’t need to place the tank underneath the dishwasher which will give save you about an inch or two clearance. This does not fit under my cabinets as it is just a little too high, so what I did was put it on a stand. The tank has a little filter that you plug into the back of the tank and then into the unit itself. It’s just a tiny little piece, and I wish they would give us more of those because that could like be easily lost when you’re cleaning it. It also comes with the faucet hose, so if you wanted to hook it up to the faucet you can and then you have the drain hose. The drain hose has a small suction cup and I plan on getting a few more, as the drain hose is pretty stiff and when it has water going through it, I’m always afraid it’s gonna whip out of the sink. This does take a lot of water if you use the tank - it holds 7 L and I find you do need to use all 7 L for a wash. It does come with a cup that has 2 1/2 L so plan on filling that cup up three times and pouring it into the tank. You need to have the dishwasher on while you’re filling up the tank as it will tell you when it’s full. One of the confusing aspects of this unit is that if it runs out of water, it will stop and beep at you. The warning light says faucet, which was confusing to me at first, because I don’t have it hooked up to the faucet. Once I read the instructions and the error messages, I realized that that was just a universal error message and that the unit needs more water. This does have several modes of washing times - there’s the rapid which is 35 minutes, an intense mode for two hours, an eco for 1.5 hours, and you can also wash fruits and veggies in this as well. The different times are based on how dirty your dishes are. I have used both the rapid and intense cycles and it did clean really nicely. It’s very quiet - it’s not that loud and it just deposits the water into your sink. You need make sure that the that the filter inside the dishwasher is clear, so when the water comes up from the tank, it has a clear pathway into the main dishwasher.I had some food stuck down in there and it kept beeping at me, saying it was out of water but it wasn’t. I just had a blocked filter. So far, I’m giving this a positive review. Any issues I had with it was a learning curve for me and wasn’t a problem with the machine. It’s a little bit bigger than I anticipated, but next time I just have to learn to measure things properly. This is great if you don’t have a dishwasher in your home, or you have an RV - someplace where you just don’t have the space for a full dishwasher. Some apartments do not come with dishwashers, so this is a nice little unit. It doesn’t hold a lot. I would say it can hold like three plates, a couple of the bowls and a couple of cups. It also comes with a removable cutlery holder, so you don’t always have to have that in there and you can make room for more dishes. ... show more

  • Measurements accurate - doesn’t fit all counters; arrived wet; works better than full-size
Color: White
This does not comfortably fit on my countertop. It sticks out front a few inches. The measurements shown in the pictures are accurate. Make sure you measure your counters to make sure you have enough space between the countertop and cabinet. When I use this, I have to put it on top of my washer which is also in my kitchen. At first, I was concerned when I opened it because it was wet. I thought maybe I had received a returned unit. Nothing else led me to believe that it was returned, so it must have been from factory testing before shipment. Do you note you could receive a wet unit. Since I cannot have this on my countertop, I am very happy that it does not need kitchen sink hook ups. I would need to install an adapter anyway, because I have a pull down faucet. Filling the water tray is super easy. Make sure you have it plugged in because it will tell you when it is full – it beeps and displays the word “full” on the side of the screen. It comes with a 2 L pitcher for easy filling. Minimal set up needed to run it – you have to hook up the water, whether it is the hose to the sink in the unit or the water tank from the bottom. You also need to hook up the drain hose, so if you are not draining into the sink, make sure you have it draining into a very large pot or bucket because it does drain during washing. It does have a drying function, so your dishes will be dry. Honestly, they come out cleaner and dryer than my three year old Samsung full-size dishwasher. You can turn off the drawing function if you would prefer to hand dry. The drying function is not included in the time displayed for cleaning. There is no detergent holder inside the machine. It recommends using dry powder or small dishwasher pods. The instructions show just dumping it on the left hand side of the machine, so that is what I’ve been doing and it has been working well without issue. It does not hold a ton of dishes, so this is best for one or two people. It does fit my very large, heavy duty Made In pasta/entrée bowls. It does have a silverware basket which can hold plenty of small items. I got it to help with overflow dishes from entertaining. Ideally, I would love to have two full-size dishwashers in my house, but it is not large enough to give up the cabinet space I would be losing. I love being able to store this in my basement and bringing it out as needed. Again, this is doing a much better job than my full-size Samsung dishwasher which I purchased brand new three years ago. One feature I am going to have to check out after grocery shopping is the fruit washing function. I love preparing and washing all of my fruits and veggies as soon as I receive them so I have healthy snacks on hand. If I can load this baby up and have it clean my fruit for me, it would save me quite a bit of time. Overall, I really find this dishwasher to be worth it. It cleans and dries dishes very well. It holds a fair amount of dishes. It is easy to clean and empty the water. Honestly, no complaints with this one. ... show more

  • Great addition to the camper.
Color: White
This is not going to be the perfect set up for everyone, but there are some situations where this is great to have. We have a decent size camper we leave set up all year around at a camp ground a few hours from home. We go there often during the summer time because it get's us out of town, into a quiet area and the kids are able to spend the weekends playing on the playgrounds and at the pool with other kids during the summer months. It's great, except that when we're there for several days we end up with lots of dishes just like we do at home. I've done the paper plates and plastic utensils thing, but with as much time as we spend there it just creates a lot of waste. So we really should be washing everything, and we do. That's where this comes in. I'd never even thought about putting in a counter top dishwasher in the camper, except that some friends of ours there at the campground have one and went on about how nice it was. They mentioned that some models didn't even need to be hooked up to any hoses, and that's when I got interested. When you get one that has a tank, you can fill it and let it wash from there. And that's what this one does. One thing to note is that even though this is a counter top dishwasher, it's still a pretty decent size. So you'll want to check the dimensions of it to make sure it'll fit into the space you have for it. What was a big selling point for me was how much less water these take compared to hand washing everything. I do rinse the dishes and scrape food off, just like I do at home, and after I've run them everything comes out quite clean. It's a really nice addition to the camper, and we're not spending days filling up bags with plastic waste. ... show more
