This kit came with a ruler & tweezers. It comes with a template to use for bending the wire to make the back of the bed & light. Which helped with making the bed. The directions are pretty easy to follow. I'm glad they provided extra pieces for the wine bottles since my first piece took off flying somewhere & my second one shattered when I gripped it too tightly. All the pieces in the kit are of nice quality. I didn't like making the curtains. Then they have you stick them in the doorway, but it leaves no space for the plastic cover. Fighting with the plastic to make it stick was not fun. Then add in that there was nowhere for it to go with the curtains in the way. It actually has two layers of plastic. You add the first one and then do all the plants along the side and then add the next layer of plastic. I tried not to let any of the plants go too far over the edge, but it didn't make a difference. I didn't really even bother fighting with the second layer too much and just kind of tacked it on there. It would've been a fun one if it wasn't for the transparent film not cooperating.

Directions are not very clear at all, if you have done miniature houses before, you can probably figure it out, but if not, you may struggle. There are lots of small pieces that you have no clear explanation of where they go. Once done it is beautiful, but getting there is kinda hard.

This was purchased as a present for my daughter. She’s 13 years old and this has kept her occupied for hours at a time during the Christmas break and on the weekends. She will spend an hour or so after school working on it and has so much fun. Her sense of accomplishment and showing me her steps along the way have been so much fun for all of us. The quality is exceptional, the instructions are clear and concise. The end result is even better than I could’ve expected.

My daughter loves these miniature kits and this house was on her top list for Christmas so when it arrived and the box appeared to have been opened before I disregarded and wrapped it for her gift and assumed the box was just mushed during transport… not so, it is missing pieces and doesn’t have clear instructions. It’s very disappointing bc she was really looking forward to this. I submitted to exchange this and will have to send back the kit she’s been working on.

This is really precious. The instructions are easy to follow and everything fit together nicely. The details like the leashes are a challenge to put together due to size but it's these tiny things that make it so cute.
