This was very easy to install and calibrate. I was surprised at how loud it was when I first turned it on. I ended up turning it up louder because the lowest setting was drowned out by the TRX6 motor noise. A few clicks louder and the speaker was louder than the electric motor. My only two complaints are 1. I wish it had more diesel engines 2. I wish the throttle input wire was a few inches longer. There’s only two diesel engines, the S11-SCANIA R730 (V8) and the Volvo V02-FH16-750 (I6). The other two trucks are gasoline. The engine sound in the video is the Volvo FH16-750. I’ll likely buy an extension wire for the throttle input so I can move the speaker. Currently it’s installed over the receiver box. There’s a mounting plate above the front axle on the TRX6 that is the perfect size and position for this unit. ... show more

    • It's a good unit but only maybe 10 decent motor sounds out of the 58 advertised.

Most sound like a keyboard and modem from the 90's having sex. There's a few decent v8's 1 or2 diesel engines a few old 4 bangers but most kinda suck. The ones that sounds good are really good from the start up to the brakeing and the revs really add realism to the vehicle. I love that on the v8 I'm running (I believe it's #7or #8 ) it actually loads up and stalls if you don't give it gas after 30 seconds or so. It can be manipulated with an app but I never tried yet. All in all I'm happy with it. But I wish the would have just given us 10 or15 good sounds instead of 58 and 2/3rds are unusably. ... show more

My son wanted this for his RC car. Sound is loud! You will need adaptors or cable for computer if you want to download more from website. We couldn't find one and eventually upgraded to another one that was a complete set
