    • As good as an Iwata CMB
I purchased this airbrush as a replacement for the Iwata CMB. The CMB has served me well for many years but the version I have has been replaced by a newer model and mine has had a number of issues related to the amount of use it has had in the years I've had it. Replacing it with another was out of the question as I couldn't afford another $600 airbrush. I had been told that this airbrush was the equivalent of the old CMB that I had been using and not that I've gotten a few projects with it under my belt I can assure you that this is true. The 018 is an amazing detail airbrush that should provide years and years of good use. I love this airbrush and it is just as good as the Iwata Custom Micron and the trigger mechanism is very smooth and very good response and well made and no splattering or spits and very well made. I tested it using automotive paint and it sprayed very well and no splattering or spits and very easy to clean and it sprayed good fine lines and wide spraying and very easy to use and I give it a 5 stars. People complain saying it splatters is because you need to put 50% paint and 50% reducer and it won't spit. This airbrush is good. I been airbrushing for almost 40 years. Very good airbrush and aircompressor.

    • Great for fine detail
This is a precision airbrush for detail work and can be frustrating for beginners as it clogs more easily than an airbrush with a larger needle but it can lay down a fine line like no other. Honestly, I use my PS-289 a lot more than this one but when you need ultimate precision this PS-771 is hard to beat even at twice the price. ... show more
