I will start by saying how great this piece looks. It's a nice rich color and has that old school stereo cabinet look I was going for. It was just big enough to fit our stereo and CD changer. Just barely though! I used the outer side dimension to decide if our stereo would fit, but the inner shelves do not come out as far as I would have liked them to. This being said, they did fit in the end and the glass doors will close without bumping into them. The quality of all pieces is outstanding. All pieces are heavy and sturdy. It takes two people to carry the box into the house (or a dolly). Man is it heavy! I could not move it by myself. Assembly was pretty involved, and took most of our afternoon. The instructions were fairly straightforward, but the pieces are heavy and best assembled with two people. One person could maybe do it, but it would be challenging. My husband did most of it by himself, but at certain points I had to hold pieces up for him. Overall we are quite happy with this item! It's not easy to find stereo cabinets these days. This one looks really nice and holds all of our electronics. My only slight complaint is with the glass doors. They are functioning okay now, but it took a few days to get them right. We had to experiment with tightening and loosening the hardware until the doors would actually open and close without hitting into each other. It was a hassle, but worth it in the end! Overall we're pretty happy with this cabinet. We'd do it again!

The wood looks really nice for the price and is sturdy, perfect for my needs. Only issue is that the instructions are a bit lacking, specifically around the small components. The pieces for the glass doors require the little rubber squares to be inserted to protect the glass from the screws. The middle magnet piece also has to be aligned just right and only two holes are pre-drilled, so you must screw it in yourself through the wood.

Had it not been for the quality of the wood & glass, I would have given this item a 1 star. The quality of the assembly parts was of very low quality. I should’ve have inspected the parts before assembling, I had started the assembly when it hit me how low quality the parts were. I wish I could return it. The quality of the wood and mirrors was good so I expected the same with the parts which I soon discovered was not the case at all!

It took about 3 hours to put this together. Originally, the package did not even come with instructions so we had to contact the seller and they emailed it in a couple of days. The instructions that were emailed weren’t even clear instructions, the nails weren’t labeled, and we had to figure some of it out for ourselves. Also, please have a power drill when you order this. Some of the screws don’t fit where they are supposed to go. I pay for prime and had to Pay $40 for S&H….I should have bought a stereo system from Wayfair. Don’t buy this product.

Item ordered on April 3 and delivered within 3 days. Estimated delivery had been yesterday, April 15. Received in excellent condition, well packaged. Assembly was easy, all parts lined up perfectly. Truly impressed with quality. Would not hesitate recommending.

As other reviewers have noted, the quality of the wood is pretty decent, but there were some areas that were flawed (pictured). But somehow worse than that, was the assembly/instructions; an absolute nightmare. You really have to know what you're doing, because the instructions skip over major and *important* steps. Secondly, it absolutely will require two people to build this; at one step in particular it is unavoidable. And you may need a drill. In my case, the instructions clearly show the wood needing four holes to install the magnet piece, but only two were pre-drilled. I drilled my own, but be very careful, as the position of this piece is critical to the entire functionality of the product. Kind of like it was important and shouldn't have been missing from the shipped product in the first place! (: Now that it is built, it's not worth my time to deconstruct and mail back. So I guess I'm stuck with it. Pricey piece for all these issues, in my opinion.

Takes a lot of time to put it together, but looks great after it is completed. I added some casters on the bottom to get to the components afterward. I later on put a hanging piece of light klack cloth in the back because of the light wall behind it.
