I have been doing woodworking for 60 years and can't adequately explain how much safer I feel when pushing wood through the table saw, router table, and band saw. This is so grippy, it is wonderful to use! I love the angled handle that helps hold work to the fence, as well as the drop-down hooks on the ends of the tool (which can be locked up out of the way).     • Great push block, worth a purchase
This is a great push block it has decent economics and grips well to the material. These are my favorite blocks at the jointer.

    • An improvement over conventional push blocks
I bought two of these to use on a jointer (mostly) and on a router table. The attraction was the end stops that make it easier and safer to push the far end of a board through the jointer. The end stops work well, and the knobby rubber face of the push block grab the surface of the wood effectively. It's possible to lock the end stops up so that they don't get in the way, but it's not possible to lock them down, so in theory they could flip up and loose their hold on the end of the wood. The push block is fairly large, and for my purposes it would be better if it was a bit narrower and shorter, especially for use on the router table. However, the overall design is a definite improvement over conventional rubber-faced push blocks. ... show more
