I want to start by saying the customer service for this company’s product is amazing and very prompt!! My son asked for a “lambo remote control car” for Christmas, and after looking at many and reading/verifying reviews, I settled for this one. Christmas morning came and it did not work, much to his visibly extreme disappointment. We could get the remote to light up, but even after several different sets/brands of batteries, I reached out to the “Ask the seller a question” tab from my Amazon account after the holidays were over and all was quiet again. When the generic “please allow 2 business days for a reply”, popped up, I went ahead to Amazon chat so I didn’t have to wait around for a reply since it was a weekend after the holidays and my son could not patiently wait any longer. Amazon sent out a replacement with Prime shipping immediately! The seller responded to my email just a couple hours later after I spoke to Amazon with a sincere apology asking for my address to mail a replacement immediately with no questions asked! I couldn’t believe how prompt they were to respond and to try and remedy the situation and on a weekend no less! I let them know that Amazon already took care of the replacement and that a duplicate was not necessary and thanked them for being so quick to respond to a customer issue. The replacement arrived 2 days later and my son was SO happy. The only super small issue I can find with the toy is with durability. A couple of small crashes later, the front bumper fell off, but performance wasn’t affected and it’s nothing a little super glue can’t fix! I will say that this type of car is not meant for withstanding crashes like a monster truck type RC would be built for, and it was partly (or mainly) due to operator error (my son who is trying to learn how to drive and control this thing!) If you buy for a younger child (my son is 7 and he has autism), be aware this little thing is actually pretty darn fast and he’s learning to get control of it and steer! ... show more

I bought this for my brother as a Christmas gift and he loved it. The battery life isn’t great, but he did have so much fun driving it around the house and down the street. Durability isn’t great, though. He did damage the side of it pretty easily. Besides that, it looks exactly like the photo and is a good gift. My nephews really liked this remote-control car. It has built-in lights, which I didn't even know. It runs faster than other cars and its style is quite nice. Keep in mind that you'll need batteries since it doesn't come with them. I bought it for a Christmas gift because I wanted something simple since I was going to get him something else. I’m writing a 1 star review because of the durability of this product. The way the 2 front wheels are on is very cheap, flimsy and only connected by a small plastic ring. We took it out on flat pavement as it wouldn’t move on carpet with brand new Duracell batteries in it we had just bought for it from the store. No biggie, but another reviewer mentioned it DID work on carpet so I thought maybe it was just our carpet. But once outside we couldn’t get very far in range with it, so we followed it around while driving it. It worked much better on the pavement. Then, its FIRST collision with a foreign object broke it in 3 pieces… the wheel snapped off a little plastic ball joint and broke from the frame, the headlight broke off, and part of the plastic front broke away. We drove it around on 3 wheels for another few minutes while it was stuck steering to one direction and dragging on the ground due to the missing wheel and called it a day. I understand the car hit something but it barely made it out of the box… you would expect a child’s toy to have some expected rough play on it but this thing disintegrated on first impact and had zero durability. Losing a wheel was weird because it showed us the inner design flaw of how it was attached which is by a tiny little plastic ring loop. Once that breaks, you’re screwed and apparently it is susceptible to break right out of the box. Do not let this car collide with anything… a wall, a curb, another remote control car, it really actually will damage it beyond repair. Never bought something so fragile in the RC world. I know this is an extremely affordable product but it just didn’t live up to the expectations and the bar was set extremely low here. Amazon offers returns for it through January something but technically speaking we broke it. I do believe the product is faulty but I don’t plan on returning… just charging it to the game this time. A replacement would be nice from billion dollar Amazon, although it would probably have a short lived span so would be kind of a novelty. I plan on taking no action but hope this review gives foresight into the build quality for someone else. We liked that the headlights lit up when giving it gas.
