After 5 hours of pickleball and profuse sweating, my makeup still looks like I put it on this morning. I have been cursed or maybe blessed with extremely oily skin and huge pores. Have tried many primers only to be disappointed in their ability to minimize pores but also to keep my makeup from sliding down my face by the end of a workday. It’s hard to believe but this product is the holy grail of primers. As you can see by the photo, my hair is a mess but my face still looks like it did when I left the house this morning. A plus to the R&D team that discovered this stuff. As a bonus, it’s natural, glides on smoothly with a slight cooling sensation and prepares the canvas for paint. I was so excited to try this product based on a major website beauty review. Wow...was I disappointed. The clear gel felt great on my fingers; however, as soon as I put it on my face, it was like a sponge absorbed and sucked out any and all moisture...yikes! So uncomfortable. I probably should have washed it off right then but I thought it was something I needed to get used to. Nope...super drying, to the point where I felt like I needed to put extra moisturizer on over my makeup. Who does that?! The perceived false advertising only added to my disappointment.
