I live in the basement of my brother-in-laws old house and don't get very much light. Last winter a lot of my indoor plants really suffered. This year, I decided to put them under this light and they are booming! My orchids have a new flower spike and my bird of paradise has a new leaf growing!

Brighter light than my 1000 watt Spider Farmer I paid more for. When I first bought it I thought it looked a little on the blue spectrum so I thought it wouldn't be good for flower but it works great and prefer Viparspectra lights. Great light.

Great light. Love the dial from 25% to 100%. My plants are getting the right PPFD . It’s heavy and does give off some heat you can expect a rise in temperatures around 5 to 8 degrees depending on your set up and light conditions. I know this light has a dimmer, but I normally grow my plants under full brightness. Unfortunately, this light has no side shields like the Mars Hydro to direct the light more downward and more importantly, shield your eyes from the intense light when the light is hanging above eye level, which most of my lights are much of the time. I suppose the intent of no side shields may be to light up a broader area, which it does. Other than this little annoying feature (to me), it appears to be a great light so far. ... show more

this is my second Viperspecta grow light of this specific model they are so good I bought a second one for more plants super powerful lights also love that they have adjustable brightness I have both on a timer my first one is older so doesn't have the network interface that these new ones have however well worth it either day ... show more
