For those of us tied to a desk who don't get enough outdoor time, this little mat is a good way to get some grounding in. The set came in a nice package with the grounding book and the tester to test for proper wiring of your electrical outlets. The mat itself is a thin sheet of vinyl-feeling material which wraps around the mattress with elastic corner straps. The instructions indicate the best results are achieved when sleeping in full contact (nude) with the mat but that it may be placed under the fitted sheet, preferably a natural fabric. Cleaning is via wiping with a damp cloth. I've used it several nights now and have noticed, like another commenter, that I am having consistent dreams whereas I never had dreams (that I was aware of) before. I got this for overall benefit and especially for assistance with poor circulation. I don't have any way of knowing if it's helping with circulation, but my lower legs do feel less tender where the blood typically accumulates. I don't find any discomfort sleeping directly on the mat or get awakened by any noises from it. It can be a little startling when first laying down as the material can feel a little chilly until it warms up. I give it five stars, but do propose that the vendor offer some way to test the mat itself for functionality as there's no way to ensure the product is working properly now or over time.

This mat is good and I trust it because it comes from this company (this is the original earthing product I believe). I got a tester for it and it works. Earthing has changed my life for the better. I am a sensitive person who always craves the outdoors and since I became an adult and spent less time outdoors, I began to feel like something was missing I was angry stressed and worn out and depressed and anxious and fatigued. Every day felt like a monumental task. My burnout lasted for many years and I was losing hope for recovery. I bought this product on impulse because I saw it and my body just told me this is what I needed for some reason. I have used it for 3 weeks now and I feel so much better. I have energy like I haven’t had in years. My mood is much better. I have experienced some trauma in the past and I noticed this mat helped calm my nervous system down. I never thought I’d get relief from the aftermath of the trauma I’ve been through, but I think my body just needed to reconnect to the earth. This product is so awesome I want everyone to use it. My stress levels are getting lower and lower by the day. I’m actually enjoying life now. I feel so much more relaxed and I sleep better now. Thank you to Clint Ober for creating this product. This has been a life saver.

Purchased it in March 2022, so it has been on on our matress for a little over 2 years. We put it under the mattress cover, and haven't looked at it since, until yesterday May 23. The reason for looking was that I noticed some black residue of some sort on the edges of the mattress, and decided to investigate its origin. When I pulled out the cover what I saw was beyond gross...!! As can be seen on the photos, the conductive carbon separated from the material, and completely covered our nice mattress with black powdery residue, that was seeping through the material! Not only we may have been inadvertently breathing in these carbon particles, but we also rubbed ourselves in it every night!... On top of it, it completely ruined our mattress! Vacuuming it, took over an hour! And even then, this macro black stuff won't clean off! This is criminal negligence, that will have an unknown effects on our health! We intend to take this matter to a consumer advocate to have this product recalled immediately, and have all those who purchased it be refunded and compensated for any damaged goods! Future buyers - beware!
