We bought 2 for our Kung bed and I am happy with this choice. For me I think that 2 individual mat work better. After 2 months they have tendency to wringle, so it is easy to take care of it. My right knee was swelling and the left close to the vein for years. It was always hot and red. After 1 month, no more swollen either redness. Completely gone.So obviously mat is working. Not over night but every day a little bit. I became addicted to my mat. At 1st pretty weird to sleep on it, little cold but still comfortable and I used to now. No regret.

The lack of proper instructions and a proper plug is less to be desired. Look I know a lot but am not knowledgeable when instructions only say “If you want to test its continuity, please set the meter to 200k or less for testing.”! First what kind of meter? Second how does this meter get hooked to the mat to test? Third where are the visual instructions? Forth why isn’t there a plug like other companies send with their products? So now I have this on my mattress and plugged into a regular outlet and sleeping on it for a couple days, I have absolutely no clue if this is working. To test I may have to buy this phantom meter they say I have to test with if I want to test its continuity. Well yes I need to know if it’s working before the return time frame if it’s not working. If I can find out what meter I need and how to plug it up for proper testing.

When I saw this mat for sale I thought it sounded interesting. I can see how it might work since our bodies are dependent on electricity to function. I put this on my half of our king size bed and made sure it had a good connection to the ground port of an electrical outlet. I don’t have anything to validate that the mat is grounded but I assume it is. I’ve used it for about 5 nights now - by the grace of God I don’t have any health issues so I can’t say that I really feel anything but I think I probably have inflammation to some degree (I think we all do) so I’m hoping this helps alleviate that. The material that it’s constructed from feels nice - it seems to be well made. As I understand it from a YouTube video your skin has to be in contact with the mat - as a guy I sleep without a shirt on so i am in good contact with it. One thing is - it is really cold when you first lay on it since it’s a thick synthetic material - not much that can be done about that though. I wish that the instructions were more explanatory - it didn’t say if your skin has to be in contact or if you can wear clothing (which is why I looked on YouTube). The instructions said to plug it in to the ground port of an outlet with the PU facing up - what is PU? And the outlet they showed on their drawing was upside down - most outlets in the USA have the ground port at the bottom unless the outlet is attached to a wall switch. So I’m not sure what the PU is and what they consider to be up. So I hope this is helping me in some way - I trust that it is. EDIT: I found out that PU is Polyurethane - which is what the mat is made of (in part). PU has nothing to do with plugging it in to the grounding port. That part of the instructions are unclear because it’s mixing up instructions - seems obvious to me now but it wasn’t until I figured out what they were trying to say. So basically - lay the mat down smooth side up, attach the grounding cable, and plug the grounding cable in to the ground port (the roundish hole) of an electrical outlet. That’s it. As long as the electrical outlet is grounded then the mat is grounded too (and 99.99% of the time it WILL be grounded).

This product is not made to last. We have bought two twin because we have an adjustable bed and one elastic strap has completely broken and the other is almost broken after a couple months.

Read the research on grounding mats, very interesting, seems to work. I put this on my couch since I only have one side of the bed or one surface, so for me, it worked perfectly on the couch. My husband and I spend a lot of time binging streaming services here so I figured this would be the most beneficial. I will say, it seems like it helps. When he or I nap on this couch, we seem to have better quality sleep. I also seem to have less joint pain when I wake up and I don't seem to feel aches in general like I normally do. I don't exactly know how all that works, but the research on it seems to make it appear to be a real thing. From my own experience, it does seem real. My overall sleep quality and my overall pain levels, seem improved. I will say it also is nice because it's a leather material with breathable holes; it feels good and cool to lay on.
