At first glance, I was excited. No more cutting holes in lids to put in a net pot. Put my water in a standard 5 gallon bucket, went to snap on the lid, thinking this was great. However, the lid wouldn’t go over the rim of the bucket. It seems the lid and bucket are exactly the same size, making it impossible to snap the lid on. I guess I could cut a few notches out of the bucket to get it to fit, but that was the purpose in getting these. I didn’t want to do more cutting. Be aware, these won’t fit without some modifications. Update: This review that I left was incorrect! I’d like to say that this was an entirely inaccurate description. While the description says that it will fit snugly on a 5 gallon bucket, this is not the case. It is NOT large enough. It will sit on the bucket and doesn't fall in but does not snap into place. Good net pots. They fit all 5 gallon buckets i've tried perfectly. I'd give it 5 stars if I didn't keep finding hydroton floating in my buckets. It's not a lot but the smaller pieces do work their way through the holes.

Don't waste your money!!! I had to wait over a week just to find out that it doesn't fit properly on the black 5 gallon bucket. Luckily they only sent 1 of 2 and I had time to cancel the second one.

Perfect! Very sturdy and well made. Very reasonably priced at a little over $7.00 with free Prime shipping. I have a lot of confidence that this will work perfectly for what I wanted for growing a tomato plant. If anything changes, I'll alter my review.
