    • Good planer for low volume shop, recommend spending more on proper equipment if doing high volume.
This is a nice planer, however it is extremely difficult to adjust if it goes out of alignment. We use this every day in a commercial wood shop and we can't seem to get anyone to service this equipment locally. We also have a shop fox that was more expensive by 25%, but is way easier to adjust and get serviced. Purchasing carbide blades for replacements is the best way to go, if you are doing reclaimed wood and miss a nail or two it can throw the grizzly off alignment. ... show more
