  • great value
I really can't complain about this saw. From my perspective, It is a great purchase for a hobbyist. I have had mine for several weeks now, and have been using it several times without any issue at all. It arrived with damaged packaging but nothing inside was actually damaged. Assembly is pretty easy and straight forward. I did not take me long to get everything square. I have one cast iron wing that is slightly cupped (<1/32" in the middle). Not the end of the world for me. ... show more

  • Great Machine
Check out you tube, there is a great review for this particular machine. You need to take the time to set it up properly. Once you run some scrap thru and the setting are correct, spot check before each project..It will take 8/4 maple, but take your time. A woodworker 11 blade may be a great help. If you are intending to use the 12 months option, make sure amazon tells it bank. I have to do this soon, Amazon didn't, and it is not the first time. Safety is your responsibility. With any cutting equipment you must be attentive of what you are doing. Saw stop doesn't end all safety requirements. ... show more

  • Saw works great. Very happy.
The best thing about buying this product through amazon was the fact that grizzly coordinated the shipping perfectly and it arrived with all the parts in the window that was scheduled. The saw set up easily and grizzly was available by phone and email to support with any questions I had. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great saw - great price
Great value for the money. For a little over $1000, I now have a really good table saw. It is much better than the portable table saws. I really don't have any gripes at all. I do agree with one reviewer I saw - if you're going to put a mobile base on - put it on before the table surfaces are mounted - They are heavy :) ... show more

  • This saw exceeded my expectations
Great value. The saw was easily assembled and tuned in under an hour and was up and running. The table is perfectly flat and fence square.

  • Amazon sucks, Grizzly sucks for using amazon.
Don't buy Grizzly products through CT Tools or Amazon.

  • Corners cut across the board.
The concept is good. But I found many examples of poor manufacturing quality on this table saw. - The table top wings are attached by three threaded screws into a machined hole. One of the machined holes was out of alignment, making it impossible to attach the wing top as designed. - The screws for the wings on the table are just barely long enough, which doesn't work because you need to torque these down for good table alignment. I tore out a thread on one socket because the screw was not long enough to fully engage in the threads before applying torque. - The retaining clips on the elevating screw fell out, which pushed out the entire lead screw. After only 30 seconds of a first test, my saw broke and I had to put in a warranty request. Two weeks later, still waiting to receive replacement parts. (It's just two retaining clips.) - The side panels on the body do not fully align with the casing, leaving large gaps. This is an issue for a table saw that has integrated dust collection. - The main motor used cheaper aluminum wiring for its leads, instead of copper. - The screw for the motor capacitors fell out because it was the wrong size. - The wire nuts for the motor power connection were the wrong size for the three wire connection that came pre-wired from the factory. I know this because they had electrical tape around the wire nut to hold it onto the wire. The bearing pads for the fence fell out. I had to glue them back in place. All together, this is a prime example of cutting corners at every chance possible. It demonstrates that Grizzly would not know how to build a quality tool if their life depended on it. I will not buy from Grizzly again. ... show more
