My daughter purchased a strip of led lights for her room thinking the adhesive strip on the leds would have enough strength to keep them mounted on her wall. It seemed unlikely, and sure enough the strip started coming loose within a day. I attempted to use the "brackets" that came with the strips but these were flexible silicone brackets that were impossible to secure to the wall -- more like rubber bands. We purchased these brackets, reapplied the led strip with the adhesive, and secured the strip by using a bracket every 18 inches. They work as expected. It's been more than a month and the combination of the adhesive backing that came on the led strip and these brackets has kept the strip straight and fully mounted. (I expected some sag between brackets, but there isn't any.) The daughter is pleased. The one caution for buyers. Doublecheck the type of led strip you're using. The led lights come in different widths and there is generally a difference in shape between indoor and outdoor/weatherproof strips. We happened to use the outdoor version of led strip. The outdoor style have a round silicone cap where the indoor do not and are flatter. We got lucky and got it right. Five stars for the brackets for being exactly as expected. ... show more

    • Easy to install and works great!
The lights came sooner than expected which was awesome, especially because we were going out of town. They were incredibly easy to install the peel off adhesive I am sure would work fine long term but we decided to add the additional anchors. I also loved how easy it was to adjust the length. Another thing I love is the timer on the app. That was always my flaw with traditional lights was turning them on and off, so I love setting them and not having to think about them again. I think the app needs some work. Some of the colors (orange) are kind of hard to get to. But I love the preset color patterns. ... show more

    • Read the information before buying! Different clips for different strips as far as internal size.
I'm totally blind. I got these for a strip LED light. One thing to be careful of is to make sure that you read the information about what kind of strip light it will be able to hold. Some of larger and some of smaller. In my case, these whir the correct one. The person I had help me put the clips up didn't ahve any issue. This was way more then what I needed! But did the job. These whir what I was looking for. The clips whir placed about every 7.5 to 8 inches apart on the strip LED covering the spot ware you could cut the strip. Then we placed one at the start and end of the strip. ... show more

    • Clips are ok but screws are soft
Had to laugh... They include a "gift" of a double-sided #1 Phillips screwdriver bit, but the screws themselves require a #2 Phillips. 🤦♂️ Might as well include a flat head bit since that also won't fit these screws. I just used a #2 bit I already had. Tried shooting a few screws into the hardiboard soffit vents to hang an LED strip using a cordless drill on the lowest setting, and the screw heads just snapped right off as soon as they met a little resistance. I wasn't even using an impact, just a regular cordless drill on the lowest setting. You HAVE to pre-drill the holes for these screws. And don't slip or overtighten them because you'll either strip the heads or break them off. At least the clips look good and will probably last longer than the screws... ... show more
