When my foot shifts when I wear them the BOA thing pops open and loosens the shoes. They are really decent boots and kept my feet dry half of the time. I was going to waterproof them to help with that but then wires on each boot broke a week after I could return them.

These are comfortable good looking boots but they are not waterproof as advertised. I wore them in some snow and the inside of the boot and my wool socks became significantly wet. It took two days to dry them out. Otherwise they are a nice pair of boots. Unfortunately, I bought them because I needed a waterproof boot for the winter snow.
