I hate to rate this a 4, because we've bought them before and loved them. BUT, the ad stated they would work for the new Amazon fire tablet. We bought 2 of them for our kids. They slide on fine and fit well, EXCEPT, no matter what adjustments we made, the hard plastic piece that touches the screen, would render the screen unusable by touching it with your finger. The screen would pick up on the plastic edge touching it and wouldn't allow you to do anything with it on. So, we removed it and bought a new case. My kids were bummed because we've used these covers for a few years now and they really like them. That's my reason for giving 4 stars and not less. The covers are great quality and value, if they fit your device.

We needed a less bulky case so it could fit in a smaller backpack but still have protection and it’s perfect for that, my son loved the case. It’s easy to put on, good grip and the stand works well. There was some slight scuffing on the case when I received it but not a big deal.

This product isn’t for a ten inch fire tablet don’t waste your money. It doesn’t fit. If I didn’t discard my envelope it was going right back from wince it came.
