This week I together this steel shed and couldn't be happier with the experience. It was surprisingly easy to build and install, which was a big plus for me. The design is really smart and well thought-out, and the price was quite reasonable too. It took me about two days to assemble, though I did spend some extra time peeling off the thin plastic sheeting from the metal parts. Wish that was mentioned in the instructions, or even better sold without it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, so I'm not sure why some reviews say otherwise. Maybe those folks were less experienced, but if you get someone to help, it goes really smoothly. I used the shed to house my pool pump and filter, and it's been perfect for that purpose.     • Took about 10 hours to build and lots of cussing

So the instructions say the shed takes about 2-3 hours with 2 people. The instructions lie. It took WAY longer to build because every single part is covered in a super thin plastic that needs to be peeled off. That is what took the longest. And you can't just peel off all of the plastic before beginning because the part number is on the plastic. When building the shed, you will look at the directions for WAY too long to figure out how the side top crossbars go. It won't make sense, even if you have a PhD in Ikea instructions. Most of the other parts of the instructions went well enough...except that part. When you read the instructions initially, it suggests using the gloves that come with them. The first 20 steps you'll get a false sense of security and won't need the gloves. Those stupid gloves will just get in the way.....UNTIL...you get to assembling the roof. Put on the gloves when you get to the roof. I cut my hands up just peeling the plastic film off of the roof peices because they are paper thin. There's so much blood on my shed now...just from the roof. Once built, the shed is pretty solid. I'm figuring out how to build a space to hang some tools now in a metal shed that you can't attach things to. ... show more

I need to tell you I hate picture instructions. Put words with them and I can manage and don't put so many steps together. We ended up with something we can use but it took several days of putting it together then taking it apart to redo the construction. We finally settled with one piece wrong but drilled a new hole to put the latch into rather than take it apart yet again. ... show more

Took me about 5 hours to assemble just by myself. Side note the instructions can be confusing but if you have assembling skills you will be alright. However I found 2 leaks on the roof I will find out where it’s coming from and seal it. Planning on buying a second one a little smaller so I can keep my car detailing tools near the house. ... show more

This thing looks great in the photos but it leaves a lot to be desired in real life. It’s incredibly flimsy and despite knowing the dimensions, it seems a lot smaller. It was a pain in the neck to put together — the screws are super small and the holes are like pinholes. Lining them up is a nightmare. There weren't enough nuts. I had to buy more to finish the job. On top of that, one of my bags was unsealed and tiny screws went everywhere when I picked it up. The directions are terrible. And it’s so delicate, a few of the parts on mine were dented before I even opened the box. It’s put together and-- it's short a panel! Why even have a door?! Utter waste of money! Purchased for patio storage of gardening tools and supplies. Arrived with -many- pieces bent/dented. All parts were included. Quality should be emphasized: these are thin, powder-coated metal with unfinished (e.g., terribly sharp) edges. Gloves were included, but once the 'shed' is built, there would be sharp edges around. The manufacturer attempts to address this with some corner guards, but it's just not something I'd want children around. And that metal is THIN. "Flimsy" is a fair description; once assembled, I could not imagine this standing up to a strong wind. In fact, I had a dark thought of it becoming airborne, with the various pieces and their lethally sharp edges shredding all in their path. I digress. The roof pieces had entirely incorrect pre-drilled holes. Not 'misaligned,' but the wrong number (8 holes per edge, vs. 16 in the design/manual/assembly instructions), and not in the right places to mate with the base. The thinness of the metal, combined with the rough shipping, meant that even when finished, the shed looked like it had a rough weekend: apparent dents, creases, etc. This gets more than one star because it is as-advertised: a cheap metal shed. All parts were included, and they used decent quality screws and included gloves. Instructions were mostly understandable, though they had a few instances of pictures not matching description or the actual parts. I would not recommend this flimsy, sharp-edged shed. I am dissassembling it and taking it to the dump. It's that bad. ... show more

    • You Can Build it Yourself, But...

Built this myself, but it would have been MUCH easier if I had someone to help at the start, when attaching the long, thin metal wall panels to the base. It's together now, looks good, seems sturdy enough but I'll be screwing the base into a 3x5 sheet of pressure treated plywood, as there is no floor. Note that some screw holes do NOT line up, especially the triangular roof support parts S3 and S4, but you can make it work. And use caulk or filler to fill gaps and spaces, if you care to keep most bugs out. ... show more
