I got this battery to have as an additional battery for a mower, leaf blower and hedger that I had. When my son mows the yard, due to its size, he cannot finish with just one battery. We like having this one as a second battery he can then use to finish the job. We keep them inside during the winter. Compared to the older battery that came with my mower (we bought it about 6 years ago), this one has a great battery life. Does what it was designed to do & works with all of my Greenworks equipment (Trimmer/edger, hedge trimmers, blower & wheelbarrow). Several times failed to charge immediately after use (on different Greenworks chargers) but found that if I let it sit overnight it'd charge OK the next day. Wanted to give a zero rating.... when (under normal grass mowing conditions and without even using our mower's self-propel feature), the battery lasted 10-15 minutes. After two separate calls to try to replace what I believed was a faulty battery, I was eventually told by the perfectly nice customer service rep that this batter had (first) a slightly less run time than the 4Ah battery that the mower first came with, and then--when I pushed back to ask if 10 minutes for a $60 battery was to be expected--that this battery had a "significantly less" run time. So.... ultimately told that I needed to go back through amazon to get a return, but, good news: IF THE RUN TIME EVER WENT BELOW 10 minutes, then I could work with Greenworks trouble shooting team! I feel like I've been scammed!!!! ... show more
