This small fan is powerful but quiet. There are 12 levels and it has option to oscillate or be stationary. There’s a timer too. The only small thing that bugs me is the remote. The coloring of the remote and symbols makes it impossible to read or make out what is what. I’ve just had to press the buttons and see what happens. I’ll memorize the functions after a while but it still bugs me. I’m happy with my purchase and would buy it again however

This is a very quiet fan, with a good coverage area. I have one in the bedroom, and it doesn't disturb my sleep. I also have one in the office, frequently on Zoom calls, and no one is aware of it. If the outdoor humidity is low, this beats air conditioning by a mile!

We purchased this fan to replace a tower style fan. We've had it about a week at this time and so far we like the compactness that makes placement much more flexible. Feels like we're getting the same air movement. This unit is definitely quieter on the lower settings but about the same on the high setting. Probably not enough overall benefit to offset the higher cost but we much prefer the smaller fan size. The only criticism is the remote. It works well but the lettering color is a light blue and almost impossible to read in low light conditions (which is where we use this). Not a lot of buttons so remembering the locations won't be a problem. More of an annoyance than a real problem.

I'll get the cons out of the way. 1. Size: This thing is pretty big. Effectively you'll need a square foot of desk space, and it stands (I'm guesstimating here) about 14" high. This is a mild con. 2. Confused co-workers. People have to know what it is, and they rarely guess that it's a fan. Mostly they think it's a camera of some sort, or some sort of robot. If you're easily annoyed at curious people, don't fret- I get asked maybe once a month. This is a mild con. 3. Cost. At 100 bones, it's not cheap, but it's not a cheap product. It's quality. In fact, this barely registers as a con, as I've purchased several "Silent" desktop fans that start squeaking within 2 weeks or right out of the box, and they also stop working properly after several months. I had one completely die. They were modestly priced- around $20- the cheapest at $12 was usb powered, and was a total heap. The PureFlow runs the same as it did over a year ago when I got it. I love it so much that I got one for my desk at home, and considering another for my bedside table. 4. Beeps: I wish I could silence the remote control beep or when I turn it on/off. A coworker looks up every time. This is a mild con, but probably the most significant, which underscores how unimportant the cons are. PROS: By the cons, you can see that this really is a great buy in my opinion. I rarely use the oscillating option, and just forget that it's on until I get a bit overheated or the air feels stagnant. So... 1. Silent 2. Modern/Slick look 3. Works (both of them) exactly as expected- timer/oscillates/powerful to soft air. 4. Battery (remote control) that it came with still works great even after a year 5. Safe. Nobody is in danger of losing a finger. I don't use it over a tub of water or anything, so I'm not claiming it's incapable of harm, but it's not gonna tip and knock anything over. 6. Smooth, cool breeze. I guess that's point 3 again. Just reiterating what an enjoyable breeze it kicks out with barely perceptible noise- just sounds like moving air. 7. Value: I love it. Again, it's not cheap, but it'll last, and it does what is expected of it. At the end of the day it's a fan, sure, but it's one that you don't have to fret over like the "affordable" ones. This is worth 20 of them, easy. If you need to count on years of quiet comfort on a fan you can enjoy when you want and forget is on when that's necessary, and no annoying your coworkers, then buy it and love it.

This is an overall fine fan with a unique design but there are several small features and quirks that don't really justify rating this higher. It seems like they focused so much time and attention on making the fan bladeless and "futuristic" in its look, that they were forced to phone-in everything else. The fan is not as quiet as they seem to imply; it may be quieter than the average fan, but once you get the speed up to about the halfway mark, you'll be hearing it. Next, the remote is just awful. They put light blue text on gray buttons that are almost impossible to read, even in good light held right in front of your face. My fan also has a slight grinding type noise every time the rotation gets to the end of a cycle and changes to the opposite direction; it's enough that I can't have the oscillation on while I'm sleeping. Another design fault is that there is no handle of any sort to help when moving the fan; you just have to grab it somewhere to move. And lastly, the display is so bright with no way of turning it off or at least dimming it (not great when I mostly want to use the fan while sleeping).

Pure flo QT7: I don't leave a lot of reviews.. But I really felt like I needed to do this one.. The first QT7air Flo fan, That I bought was aprox. 3 years ago.. And it's still going strong.. If you're looking for something to push at a whole lot of air, this fan is awesome and very sturdy.. I don't recommend doing this but I actually have this fan slightly on its side. Pointing down from my headboard.. Because I need the air blowing directly on me while I sleep.. And it was really the only place I had to set it up.. With it laying this way,..on its side.. its still going strong!.. Absolutely no problems! that in itself is amazing! Any fan that can still be going after 3 years in an awkward position. In my book, it's worth every penny.. So I bought a second one for another room.. Shortly after my first one, and now 3 years later, I'm buying a third one just to have it. Because every time I find something good, it'll disappear..lol.. So at this point with my experience I would highly recommend this fan!..

Out of the box, the fan is absolutely not quiet above setting 4/12. After about an hour of use, the motor started making an intermittent crunching noise. Not what I would expect for a fan even half of this price.
