  • Great for Cat Owners
Style: 56x30x76-WHITE
This is my first growing season using this greenhouse. I wanted something I could grow my starts in, with plenty of room, but without a large footprint. The mesh-reinforced plastic cover has been wonderful at standing up to my cats' claws. In order to prevent cats from crawling under the walls, I extended the walls by taping plastic to the bottom, then I set books along the outside edge to seal. Another feature that sold me on this greenhouse was it's ability to ventilate by opening the mesh windows on either side and using a small fan to circulate air. This unit is large enough for me to step in and even sit on the floor to water and admire my plants. ... show more

  • Easy to put together, study
Style: 56x55x78-WHITE
I think the only bits that aren't sturdy are the wire "shelves". They're ok for lightweight things, but terrible for anything with actual mass. Otherwise, this is a really nice greenhouse for small spaces. I would use bricks to hold down the plastic unless staked down.

  • So far so good…. Oops. Spoke too soon
Style: 56x30x76-GREEN
I was looking forward to finishing this winter season in order to write a knowledgeable review. I got this in October and we’re finishing our first year together. But my cautious optimism has been dashed. Today I uncovered exactly how cheaply this was made… It had a small tear early on on One of the seams - but today it gave up its ghost. While I try to duck tape it yogether to get past one last freeze, I thought I might jot down some of the issues that have come up to help explain my one star review. Please keep in mind that if similar greenhouse I got on Amazon a few years ago is still holding on. So I compared the two to figure out what the differences were… 1. Flimsy zipper - the tab that you pull on has actually bent and curled through just regular use. I’ve never had a zipper do that before when going through normal use. The “track” isn’t very strong in today the zipper completely come off and unzipped from one track. Since this isn’t a jacket it would be very hard to fit it back into the tabs at the bottom and “get it back together” and zipping as it should 2. Bad seams – While the material on my previous greenhouse was a thick wide material (ex the material used for a hang up tag on a backpack), this new greenhouse had very thin skin he seam material (ex The material on either side of the teeth of a zipper on your favorite sweatshirt). To make things even worse there is not a double row of stitching connecting that same material to the plastic covering – unlike the original greenhouse I had which did have two rows of stitching on every single seam 3. The plastic itself - On the original greenhouse the plastic was a millimeter or two thicker than the current. While it is reinforced with some kind of webbing, the new one is prone to tearing and having holes punched in it very easily. 4. The plastic infrastructure - I believe that they are very similar in diameter in regards to the plastic infrastructure included in the kit, however on this new greenhouse they are constantly coming undone. It is very difficult to keep them together and connected without glue. It is an amazing “pain in the booty”. 5. The wire shelves – On the original greenhouse they seem to be thicker and not prone depending and be able to handle more weight. On the new greenhouse they can’t handle the weight - very very easy to bend. It can be challenging to try to get them to stay on and in place, they always want to pop off. Now having said all that – I will be the first to admit that I am hard on my greenhouses. They are not there to look pretty they’re there to work. And I expect them to hold up. I am not willing to pay $500 and I want something that I can put up and take down as needed. I put it up in the fall and I take it down in the spring. And then store it away when it’s not needed. I’ll try to find (& review) the other greenhouse’s brand. I think I’m gonna try to buy another one of those if it is a different brand. I’m concerned that it might be the same brand and that the new greenhouse’s abysmal performance is due a result of supply problems/Covid/inflation issues. But I’m still going to ask the person who gave me the other to see….. Conclusion: This new greenhouse wasn’t the cheapest one out there, but it wasn’t the most expensive. And it definitely should’ve lasted more than a year. I wouldn’t recommend buying it if you’re planning on or expecting it to last more than a year… But that’s just my opinion. ... show more

  • A cheap/good beginner greenhouse
Style: 56x30x76-GREEN
Like the headline says, this is a cheap, but good, greenhouse for beginners and those not looking to spend a hefty amount, however the price tag definitely sacrifices its quality. Now I bought this as a reduced item and now that I have it and have a little experience with it, I wouldn't pay full price for this. As you can see by the photos one of my shelf racks has already pulled away from itself (I'm not surprised given it's just a little dab of soldering on each piece) but if I hadn't of caught it in time it could have poked a hole in my greenhouse cover, which would have caused problems for me later on. The rest of the racks look good but I am keeping a close eye on them to make sure they don't pull apart either. The structure is sturdy-ish, lacking a suitable weight to it. I'm considering sheathing re-rod inside of the base to help keep it on the ground (in my case, on the bricks I am using to help keep the rain off the plastic connectors and cheap metal base--hopefully it will last longer that way). We had to anchor it down because the wind was playing with it a little too much for my comfort. I did not trust the plants and pots alone to hold it down or keep it from falling over. I am disappointed with those connectors holding the frame together. I'm already seeing signs of creep failure on them from pushing the tubing inside of them. All of those little white lines tell me all I need to know and that is I'll be keeping a close eye on them to make sure I am not putting too much weight on them. On the bright side the cover was easy to pull over the frame, on the down side the two windows are not lined up which is ultimately no big deal just a little bit of an eyesore once you do notice it. There is no damage that I could find around the edges of the cover where it is sewn so that's a plus! The zipper works great too! I don't mean to sound sarcastic about that it's just I was expecting the zipper not to work properly so that was a big relief. Overall, not a bad little greenhouse for starting seeds or propagating plants (what I'm using it for), but it could definitely use some improvements. ... show more

  • Inexpensive hot house.
Style: 56x30x76-GREEN
Small but large enough for a small garden. Seeds are germinating and growing in very poor climate.
