This is perfect what I need it for and I’m excited to use it. It took me 3 hrs alone to put together because of my arthritis. It’s sturdy and hopefully handles wind. The Velcro on the side windows are great but an easy fix. The metal shelves are not very sturdy so i will reinforce them with some thin wood pieces over the flimsy metal. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but this little greenhouse surprised me. It definitely isn't made of high quality materials, but when assembled it is surprisingly quite stable. I don't have it out in the open where it catches the full brunt of wind, so that likely helps. The cover is itself of pretty good quality. The zippers work smoothly. The shelves come with clips to hold them to the frame, which is something I saw others add as a modification to similar greenhouses they purchased, so that's a nice touch. At night, in the cold, it's really not going to do a great deal to keep a lot of heat in without some help. But with adding a very small heater, it holds temps well at roughly 50 to 60 degrees and humidity hovers around 50 to 80 %. In the full sun, during the "winter" in Northern California, it gets up into the 90's during the day, while cooling of back to about 55 to 60 at night thanks to the small heater I am using. Initially I was using a small trash can filled with water and an aquarium heater as a heat sink to help with keeping things warm. This lead to excessive humidity where the walls were dripping wet. So it does hold in humidity quite well. Overall, for the price and ease of setup, it's a decent purchase. My Son is using it to grow potted bean plants outdoors during the winter as part of a school project and they are flourishing. I did buy some flat bricks to lay around the foundation to help hold it down and keep the flaps down to stop drafts from coming inside. ... show more

I assembled it all myself in about 1.5 hours - and I’m a 69 year old woman. All parts were there and the instructions were easy to follow . ( but this wasn’t my first rodeo).. It’s so big - I could put all my plants in it - even the tall ones. Takes up a lot of space on patio - but it’s just till Spring. I live in N Central TX - and it hasn’t hit under 32° yet . But it maintains humidity and all my flowers are still blooming. Lowest in the greenhouse has been about 33°. I have put a recommended digital thermometer in there and can see the temp on my phone. So far it’s only recorded about 1-2 degrees warmer than outside. I know this will last for years and I’m happy with the purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The size and the shelves for the price is why I decided to purchase this greenhouse. This is my first experience with a greenhouse. After I lost many very mature plants in last February's mega freeze, I thought I needed a greenhouse. The greenhouse shelves are not sturdy enough to hold my potted plants. Fortunately, I have leftover hardiboard planks that miraculously had already been cut to the exact size of the wire shelves. The hardiplank is strong, but lightweight, and was the only reason that I was able to put my potted plants on a shelf structure. The wire shelves alone sunk inward from the weight of my potted plants. Without added structure, the wire shelves would only be suitable for seed starter trays. If that's all you need then this would be great for that. The two ventilation windows will not keep cold out, so I will need to tape them on really cold days. Furthermore, I don't believe this greenhouse is built for cold weather which is what I bought it for. There is one location where the seam was mis-stiched causing a gap. I will need to buy some duct tape to seal the gap. See photo. For central Texas weather, this greenhouse will not protect my plants. One day the temperature will be in the low thirties like two nights ago, and the next day will be in the 70s like this whole week. Because it only has one door for ventilation, I may need to move some plants out. I was hoping this greenhouse would eliminate all the work I had to do before, which was moving plants in and out of my garage all the time. I will probably need to buy a larger greenhouse with two doors, better windows, and rated for freezing weather. But those are more expensive and I will need to buy sturdier shelves, and I am not sure my plants will be safer than in my garage. The whole point of buying a greenhouse was to save my plants from freezing and to free up my garage for my vehicle. ... show more
