I have a few rolls of this and another brand. I use them to keep the dog out of the garden, the pet bunnies in their play areas, the chickens in their run, and the wild bunnies and other nibbling critters out of my garden. It's easy to work with and the 50' length worked really well for cordoning off my gardens in particular. I ended up using t-posts and the metal clamps, but zip ties and even tomato stakes would likely work in a pinch. It doesn't flop over with the t-posts and metal clips, and while it may not stand up if the dog charged it, she sees it and doesn't bother it, so I haven't had to truly test it's durability. I do know we've had a few storms that have sent my other barriers leaning and this one has stayed put. The current price for the roll I got (14GA 2"x4", 36" H x 50' L) is $59.99 (1/6/25) and that's better or comparable to what I've seen locally, so it's even well priced. No complaints!

This wire fencing feels durable and well made. The company offers black and green color options. This fencing can be used for garden bed protection, a small animal enclosure, or a trellis for climbing vines. The fencing is PVC coated so I think it will be quite durable if you live in areas with significant temperature changes. There are a variety of size options available. All of the mesh are 2 by 4 inch rectangles and the lengths are either 50 or 100 feet. I ordered fencing that’s 36 inches high, but you can get fencing anywhere from 24 to 72 inches high. I had a section of wooden fencing break this winter due to high winds and the ground is too frozen to replace the fence, so I’m using this wire fencing to close the gap in my fence until spring. I’m hoping to use the remaining fence for my garden beds in springtime and I’m sure I can repurpose the fencing I’m using now for some climbing plants. Overall, I’d recommend this fencing. The current price is very reasonable for the amount and quality you get. It looks nicer than a plain wire barrier too. My rating method: 1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. 2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. 3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. 4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. 5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I enjoy the deer that visit my yard. But I don't enjoy them snacking on the plants I'm trying to grow! This wire fencing is the perfect solution. Grab a few stakes, unwind enough to circle the plant you want protected and clip the fencing. Stake it in place around the plant, use a few zip ties to hold it closed. Pros: Fast to use, easy solution for a problem Looks good Protects plants from deer Doesn't block sun, air, or water. Cons: My bigger plants outgrow the 36in height fairly quickly. Make sure to check the anticipated size of your plants before ordering and select size accordingly. A little extra beyond what you expect the plant to reach helps keep the critters away. Doesn't block small critters, you're not likely to stop a rabbit with this. They are wildly effective at squeezing through small holes.

I ordered this so I could fence in a potty area for the dogs to use when we weren't outside with them. This heavy roll is easier to work with if you have help carrying it and room to unroll and flatten it out well. Then it goes onto the bendy tabs of the metal fenceposts and the whole fence can be completed with just gloves, pliers, and a post driver. It looks nice with the green metal poles and not too obtrusive in the yard.
