Got these stands to display banners at conventions. They work great -- they are easy to put together, can be configured to different sizes, are sturdy for what they are intended. They just work. I did replace the bolt that attaches the top cross bar to the stand with one that has a thumbwheel, which is easier to use than the one that comes with the stand (it requires a hex wrench -- which is included, but w thumb sheet is way more convenient).

I ordered a vertical banner and this stand seemed to fit the dimensions. It was extremely easy to assemble, and I filled the weight bags with beach sand to help support the tripod, which looked a bit small for a six-foot stand. I used it at a show and sure enough, you have to be very careful with the arrangement of the tripod and bags because its a little tippy, but with a little fiddling, it worked out and did not tip over the entire show. I think its good value for the price, but could have used a slightly wider tripod and I recommend it if you are on a budget and need it for an indoor show. Would not recommend it outdoors.

I do a lot of still photography and some videos for products at my business and had been using a very crude backdrop. I decided to get this and see if it really improved my images and it has worked great. It is very easy to assemble, with clearly marked parts for the bottom stand and cross bar. You can add as many segments as needed to make it take up the full height and width or reduce so shorter and thinner. Everything stores away easily too. The green drop cloth is very silky and folds down thin for storage and expands out to cover the entire backdrop when fully assembled. Several alligator style clips are provided to hold the backdrop in place on the crossbar. The green color has really made it much easier to isolate images and edit video for promotional materials.

I wanted to love it, but it did not work for me .. it is not stable, so it was clumsy and flimsy .. it is easy to fold but It is not too stable .. it is light weigh, but honesty not my cup of tea

I orders this thinking it would be simpler than setting up my photo backdrop for craft fairs. It takes just as much time if not more to setup than the traditional rectangle style and it’s more tippy. You have to add a sandbag to keep it stable. It doesn’t just pop open. Only the feet do. The rest you have to build. It’s a pain. Returning. Also the clips that come with these feel really cheap and I don’t have confidence that they will last much past a couple of uses.
