I wanted a generator I could run my whole home on. I added a 6ga cord to this set-up so I would not lose any power. I fired it up and ran almost everything in the house at the same time. I do have a very efficient home with every light being LED's, 2 Mini splits, Well pump, Lift-station for the septic system, 2 tankless water heaters, 1 is 110-volt 30Amp circuit the other is 220 volts 60Amp circuit. We can run everything with the small water heater, but we have to shut off the AC to run the larger water heater, it draws 54Amps. Both AC units are 18,000 Btu's each Mini splits that are on 20Amp circuits and only draw 10.8 Amps each. We did run a couple of burners on the stove with everything else on and noticed only a small strain on the generator. We live here in central Florida and lose power with some summer storms and most hurricanes. I like that it runs with more power on gasoline than other generators with dule fuel, "pick a fuel man". We look forward to losing power and having the peace of mind knowing that we will be OK. Up-Date 10-28-2024. We just went through hurricane Helene and Milton; we lost power for about 48 hours. The generator worked perfectly; we were able to sleep in air-condition comfort. It's so nice to have peace of mind knowing that you'll be able to ride out the storm watching TV and having enough power to live in comfort. It ran 12 hours + before I refueled the gas tank. It only took about 5 gallons. Cost was approximately $30 per 24 hours, or ($900) for 30 days. Our electric bill in the summer is only $150, so the generator is a little expensive. But worth every penny. Very Happy with this product.

Bought this generator for a small food trailer. Put gas and oil in it, started it & it ran for maybe 10 seconds if that, then it shut off. Tried multiple times and got the same result. I followed the instructions but for some reason it just won't stay running after several attempts. I would not recommend purchasing this generator. 😡

Like in the earlier post, the noise is a little high, but no higher than the any other generator with less wattage like our dewalt 4500. It's only really noisey when pushing heavy loads. But just use three barrells if u have on sides and point exhaust away from gathering areas, and it sounds like a car on low rev. Review Update Nov 29 Service Department is Awesome, warranty is honorable, we contacted Green Power America and John went out of way to accommodate with issue at hand. John offered repair at the nearest repair to me or replacement. John, His response was immediate even at night. Green Power Truly stands behind You their units , and honor there warranty. Thanks Green Power for immediate response. I really haven't seen this type of customer service in a while. For some if you remember when the customer is first, well this company put customers first.

I had this generator for slightly over a year and it already gave out on me after using it about 12 times for my food truck. The engine won’t turn out at all now. Tried to do maintenance. Oil just turned black immediately after using. Get the warranty!

I bought this to replace an 8KW unit. I put it together and it ran OK during the first power outage. I ran it out of gas and stored it. About a month later, another hurricane and resulting power loss. After filling the gas, this would not start. We lost all of our frozen food. I did some basic troubleshooting and it appeared it was either the main switch or the carburetor float valve. I couldn't narrow it down since the wiring diagram I had was for another model- it didn't match what was present on mine. This lead me to calling support, and the fellow that answers the phone is very difficult to understand. I was going to try a new switch, but decided instead to just get another brand. Due to the problems I had with this one- its unreliability and the support issue, I would avoid this brand.
