The Green Hut Grow Tent is a great value for the price. It is well-insulated, sturdy, and easy to assemble. However, some users have reported light leaks, and I can confirm that this is a potential issue with this tent. The light leaks seem to come from the stitching in the seams, not from the fabric having holes in it. There are spots where the manufacturer anticipated this and added fabric "seals" (or flaps?), but not every little spot got the same attention. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to use tape to fix these light leaks. Despite the potential for light leaks, the Green Hut Grow Tent is still a good choice for budget-minded growers. It is well-made and easy to use. Placing the tent in a dark room, or a room that is also mostly light controlled is a good way to combat this issue. But I will update my review in a few weeks if i actually experience any issues from these light leaks. Additional Notes: If you are concerned about light leaks, you may want to consider purchasing a grow tent from a different manufacturer. If you find light leaks, you can try to seal them with duct tape or reflective material. However, this may not be a permanent solution. ... show more

I shopped around and this was the cheapest one for the size. I expected the quality to be made cheap as well. Man was I pleasantly surprised. It's thick well constructed with premium zippers. also has plenty of racks to hang fans and lights. If you're just starting off and on a budget this is a must buy. Cheapest I've found. Good tent but not the best quality. There are several spots where the stitching is terrible along with 2 small holes. Lots of light leak around the stitching, But in my case it will not matter. Overall I'm happy with the purchase due to the price. I'll most likely buy another when the time comes. ... show more

I have read many reviews of this product that say it is very hard to assemble or has a bunch of light leaks. It is very easy to believe that it must be a junk product cause the other grow tents are going for over $400+. I almost went with their competition and spent more money for a smaller size. Thankfully, common sense slapped me in the face and let me purchase this GIGANTIC tent for a reasonable price. I'm growing hot peppers, which means I am not making the money the rest of you grow tent users are making. I finally pulled the trigger and bought this product and I am beyond impressed. It is extremely well built and there is cloth backing behind the zipper seems. The zippers were said to be garbage...maybe to someone using a zipper made from a unicorn horn cause these are pretty damn high quality zippers. The entire thing feels super strong and care was given into its creation. Now, to address the nonsense about their instructions being mere refuse. It was a bunch of pictures, not unlike any of you have ever seen before and were more than enough to help me. The instructions do not hold your hand and let you be the adult you are supposed to be. Just use some common sense when snapping together the poles and unzip all the zippers to make an easy fit. I set this tent up in 34 minutes...yes, I timed it. Overall, the setup of this tent was just fine. The look of the tent is simply beautiful and I love the accents they put on everything. If I were growing something other than peppers, I would recommend to the company that the side of the box not say "Green Hut" and have the shape of a tent. There are no light leaks and this is one sturdy and solid product. As far as future purchases, I will search for this company first, then I will look for others as they have most certainly gained my loyalty.
