It’s still absolutely beautiful and a tank top fixed this issue but that was the only thing that was needed to adjust on my part! Very comfy and soft. Neckline doesn’t lay tight at the neck it’s nice and loose. I can’t wear turtleneck style shirts but this one is fine it has room around the neck! Also, wore it a funeral in 6 degree winter weather and it was warm enough! Now i recommended a coat over it but it was definitely warmer than expected with the type of sweeter it is. It is warm and beautiful. I get compliments every time I wear it. Just a warning though, wear a shirt underneath because it has no closure in the front, just crosses over. Nevertheless, it was definitely worth the purchase. I would buy it again. It's soft and not too thick, but thick enough, if that makes sense. It's nice and fit a little bigger than I thought it would, but I like that because I can wear it with leggings and my knee high boots. ... show more

I bought this in the army green and the color was exactly as pictured. My complaints are the strap that goes across from the neck to the top button is very loose and just kind of dangles. The sweater makes me look wide and not figure flattering. I bought this in a size small so it’s not like I can exchange it for a smaller size. The product itself is nice if you’re not bothered by the wide fit. I got mine when it was on sale for $27 and I don’t plan on returning it. I will be giving it to a relative. ... show more

I ordered this in Blue. I usually wear medium, but in sweaters, I always go up a size or two. In this lovely sweater, I ordered Extra Large. Why?? I will NEVER know. Too bad for me, because it swallows me, & makes me look HUGE, but I'm keeping this, & will wear a chain belt or a very slender belt, to dress it up. Still, it is ABSOLUTELY my fault. I'm reordering this in another color, most likely Red or White. I am STILL giving this FIVE STARS. My not paying attention to detail, takes NOTHING away from how utterly lovely this sweater is, nor of it's great quality. I always order Large or Extra Large, when ordering from Amazon. As it is, I have approximately 10 pieces of clothing (skirts, pants, jackets & blouses) I've ordered, & they ALL look like they were ordered for a 12 yr old. I don't know WHO does the sizing for Amazon, but either way, I will not go to the trouble of returning them. TOO MUCH TROUBLE !! For reference, I am 5'4", 122 lbs. I now prefer to order clothing TOO large, rather than my normal size. Clothes TOO large can always be fixed, one way or another. But regular or normal size??....FORGET IT, LOL. I think I got what I expected from this sweater based on pictures, description and reviewers posts. I should have put on jeans or something but I tried on when I was wearing old ratty shorts so it's probably not the best picture. But if you can get past the shorts, I think it generally fits well, will be comfy for winter and is the color it says it is online! I bought it because I'm pregnant and will be 7 - 8 months when Fall hits (due in November) so I assume I'll need some extra room in the belly area and thought perhaps this sweater will work. I THINK it will but it is slightly form fitting so not sure if I want to risk stretching it out. It will depend on how big I get. When I took the picture I was probably 129 lbs, am 5'4" tall and have a generally proportionate build. I gave the softness a lower score because it isn't soft by any means but it won't leave scratch marks on you either. Plus, most will likely wear something under it so not a big deal. The quality isn't top notch either but you get what you pay for and it will last you through at least a season or two. I suppose if you want to fancy it up you can replace the buttons with higher quality. For me, I'll leave be! ... show more
