We live in Florida and bought this for our hurricane seasons. In years past we have gone 7 days without electricity. We received this solar generator last week and we did a trial using it to power a 32 inch TV with ATT internet modem being powered and it lasted 10 hours before we turned it off at 19% power left. We have charged it using solar panels one time in our hot Florida sun and are pleased with this product in the short time we have owned it. We actually ordered a second solar generator (not the solar panels) so we could be charging one generator while the other one is being used. The product arrived in great shape and the instructions are simple and very clear for a average person to understand. Actually, I would call them idiot proof instructions because we not a tech people at all and it was very simple to understand. Since we consider this an investment for us, we did purchase the four year extra warranty thru Amazon because this is a lot of money for us to spend. We plan on purchasing a mini refrigerator to use with this solar generator too. In the short time we have on this, we would definitely recommend the product.

This is a terrible purchase. I tried to use it during a power outage and the battery died. Sent it in under warranty for a new one. Tried to use it during a power outage and it died too! Unreliable and a waste of money. Now its out of warranty.

This is a must have. Solar panels work well in strong sun. It’s putting 188 watts back in the unit. I run anything in the house off this. Purchase low watttage appliances like I did and no worries. Anything that creates heat is a big dose of watts. So be careful. I found frying pans and a coffee maker that use only 600 watts. This power source did it all easily.

We previously bought a Grecell 500W Solar Generator with 100W Portable Solar Panel about a year ago. It works fine but does not adequately meet our power needs so we ordered the 1000W/200W combo. Upon receipt, one connector from the panel to the pigtail that connects to the generator would not properly make a complete connection. It appears the conductor from the panel, which should be round to mate up with the slightly larger round conductor in the pigtail, has been damaged. While a tenuous connection can be made to transfer power from the panel to the generator, it is intermittent and not reliable. We emailed Grecell informing them of the problem, to which I got a reply back requesting sales documentation and pix/video of the problem so they can investigate the issue and figure out what to do. But in the meantime, we need a fully functional and reliable panel so we've ordered another 200W panel that will hopefully be problem-free and intend to return the defective one for full credit.

My first time purchasing portable solar panels. This system is easy to understand and use, and light enough for a small-built person to carry around. There is a convenient and well made pocket to store cables. Great as power source in case of emergency. *Sneakers in the pics are women’s size 7.

First Usage review! Came well assembled. We used the product today at my RC flying field. We powered 2 sets of LED string lights, personal desk fan and recharged my 3200mAH (SMART 3200 C3) RC aircraft batteries. The unit was running for 3 hours, recharged 4 RC Airplane Batteries, LED string Lights and a Desk Fan. We ended the day with 92% power remaining. Max usage output was 145 Mah. Great Product. Recommended. Also recharged with SOLAR panels provided back to 100% in 3 hours with partly cloudy skies.

I don't have battery operated power tools, so I've been stuck when needing to work offsite. This power module easily runs a 2-hand drill, angle grinder, reciprocating saw, etc. wherever you are. I can't say for how long, because I have not used much of the capacity in any one time. I bought the solar panels mostly as an emergency preparedness addition, as it would allow us to keep cell phones and lights charged during an extended outage. They would also be great when camping.
