The way it is advertised to just sit on a simple metal frame isn't ideal and won't stay in place. I ended up having to get some 1x3s to secure it and ensure the slats in the middle didn't just slide off. they would work a lot better on a frame with sides for them to sit inside.

This product arrived and looked perfect, but it did not fit our bed frame. We had to trim 1/2 inch off of the width of every board. And the elder person we bought it for (to lower the bed for easier access by removing the box spring) didn't use the bed for more than 2 nights. So we can't return the slats. Oh well. Nice idea but beware that something is off -- our full-size bed frame fits a standard full-size box spring perfectly, but these slats were just a hair too wide. ... show more

To start with, this is well packaged and very heavy. I did everything myself but it would've been better with help. Lastly, it was well finished. It came with some drywall screws that required drilling using the predrilled holes (4) to keep the whole thing in place.

Our bed frame wasn’t very supportive and caused our mattress so slope in the middle, this helps bring support back into our bed without making it too stiff.

It works if I place the ply board on the slats but seriously weak and useless I tried to cancel my order before it arrived and they basically told me get fked ... show more

We returned this item. Received rough, unsanded, unfinished wood stapled together with a rough cut piece of ribbon. My husband suggested that maybe this was old pallet wood, as there were holes where it looked like nails had been removed. The top board had a crack down the middle almost half the length of it. Local hardware store sells 1”x3”x6’ furring strips that are better quality than this product for $3/board. A total of $36 for better quality wood. We ended up buying a properly treated wood slat set from ikea for $30 and are very happy with our final solution. Save yourself the hassle of returning this and look elsewhere. ... show more
