I just like to see the fish biting my legs when I swim in the Mediterranean Sea and to be able to run away from the jelly fish. Now you know I am not a professional but this is not a toy. It is well made and the materials feel like they will last. I could not believe the clarity of the glass in this Greatever Snorkel Set. To tell you the truth, I was trying out the gear in the swimming pool and I forgot to take the protective film off. I still saw more than enough - all the little particles floating in the water! I love the band the at the back of the mask and that it is not just one or even two straps but a nice wide band. It is very easy to adjust the straps on either side. If you push the button in the middle you can pull the strap one way and again by accident I pushed the two tiny buttons on either side of the clasp and I found you can pull the strap easily the other way. The picture with the hand on the button is there to show you if you push on the hand that piece will allow you to quickly detach the breathing tube from the mask. I know I am a novice but how clever! For the good stuff, the mask did NOT fog up, even with my crazy, scared breathing. (OK, that was before I went in the water). I went completely under the water and I could still breathe, no water came in. You will really enjoy using this set because it works like it should; has great clarity with a big, wide window; does not fog up and you can breathe, even under the water! A very decent price too.

This is a nice mask for a pool or shallow snorkeling. The mask is larger than most which provides an impressive field of vision. The lens has corners on the side which provide for peripheral vision which enhances the experience (Seller’s picture #2). The mask fits comfortably and it is easily adjustable. The snorkel mouthpiece is made of soft silicon and is approximately 2 inches (50mm) from edge to edge. The snorkel attaches to the strap of the mask with a snap/push clip shown in Seller’s picture #5. This is a two-piece attachment. The mask and snorkel are separated by pushing the clip inward and sliding the snorkel down. The attachment of the snorkel to the mask is to insert the clip until it clicks. Separation is easy so that either piece can be used separately. I used this setup in a pool for lap swims and I appreciated the large vision field. Typical swim goggles cover only the eye sockets, but the result is “tunnel vision”. As a lap swimmer, I will gladly sacrifice the extra drag imposed by these goggles for clear vision. As a scuba diver, I can appreciate the wide field of vision offered by this mask. The lens in the mask is made from thin, “shatter-resistant” PC (polycarbonate?). I am not certain that this would be suitable for snorkeling below 10 feet. Perhaps the Seller can comment as to a tested depth for pressure stability of the lens. The Seller provides a user manual pamphlet which includes details to assembling the snorkel to the mask. A black mesh storage and transportation bag is also included. I have had anti-fogging mask which require a little care. Don’t dry them or rub the lens with anything. After use, rinse with tap water and allow them to air dry. I have had them last a few years of regular use doing this. Eventually the lens becomes cloudy. The only leak I had with the mask seemed to be due to not sealing around my mustache. The small leak was on the bottom around the nose, but it was minimal. It was not a problem for my use in the pool and at nominal pressure. The leak did remind me why I prefer a mask that does not cover my nose.

I recently purchased the Greatever Snorkel Set with the Pano 3 Window Snorkel Mask for my 10-year-old daughter, and it has been perfect for her underwater adventures in our pool.
