I got these for our tween twins and they tested it out in an ice bath since we haven't gone snorkeling yet. They loved it, and it worked on them despite not being adults. The seal on the face does require that you tighten the straps adequately, even moreso for small or thin faces. There are only 2 straps, which makes it easy for the kids/adults to tighten. It also means there's not a lot of excess straps flapping around on top. The snorkel tube has a ball inside that helps prevent water from going down the tube when submerged (like when a wave washes over you) This is a nice single piece design, less moving parts than old snorkel designs, but there is a trade off. The seal across the larger part of the face means you're more likely to get some leaks compared to the goggle design. Also some nicer goggle sets are made with real (and flat) glass which resists scratches that these plastic lenses can get. Real glass is going to have less distortion than these, but I'm really nitpicking here. This set is good for casual snorkeling adventures and pool time fun.

Wow! I cannot say enough about these masks. They are so cool! I got them for my wife and I to use on our upcoming trip to St Kitts in the Caribbean. The straps are very adjustable and I love that they have a quick release feature so you can take the mask off easily. I also love that the periscope folds down for easy packing in our suitcase. They also have a really nice periscope attachment for mounting a GoPro camera. We don't have GoPro cameras, but these masks make me want to buy some. Perhaps the most important feature in my opinion is that they have a check valve so that if you go under the water, you won't suck in any water by accident. They are more expensive than a simple snorkel mask, but I really think they are worth the extra few buck. My only comment is that they should not sell them in pairs. What if an individual wants to just buy one? Or what if each person wants to pick their own color. I think they should cut the price in half for a single mask and allow people to order as many as they want in the colors they want.

The media could not be loaded. I tested this full-face snorkel mask in my neighbor's pool and came away impressed. The mask is made of quality materials: solid plastic for the frame; thick and stretchy material for the head strap; soft silicone for the waterproof seal around your eyes and mouth; and surprisingly clear plastic for the front. The mask established a tight seal around my face while I was dry, before I entered the pool. Smaller masks I've used often needed a wet face to get a good seal. My face stayed dry after I went into the water andI had no water on the inside of the mask. It was easy to establish a breathing routine as I circled the pool and I appreciated having an unobstructed mouth and being able to breathe through both my nose or my mouth. The snorkel worked smoothly when I kept my head just under the surface of the water and it shut completely when I dived to the bottom. The diving was the only uncomfortable part of my test. The air pocket created by a full-face mask is much larger than what you get with a mask that just covers your eyes. And that pocket is buoyant, so it wants to pull you toward the surface. I had to struggle more than I expected to get to the bottom of the pool. And if I ever want to dive to those lovely coral reefs in the Bahamas I'll need a good pair of fins.

Based off the measurements, I ordered the larger size. My measurements are 5.5 inchs, the mask feels too BIG for me. I will be exchanging these for the small/medium size. Other than the size being off, the mask feels like good quality. The flat lens/plastic, doesn't distorte my vision. I like that the Snorkels detach for easy packing. Will edit review once I try the smaller size. UPDATE! Received the smaller size, and it fits perfectly! If you measure at 5.5in consider going for the small/medium.

I like this design for a snorkel/mask combination. There is a place in the mask that accepts the snorkel piece. You can easily put it in or take it out of that part. There's a stretch silicone piece so that when you pull out the snorkel, it still stays loosely connected and you can't drop it or unintentionally separate the mask and snorkel. The mask has an X-shaped stretchy strap that fits over your head, which has a connector to the mask. You can adjust it easily and also get out of it quickly if you are somewhat claustrophobic like me. The mask is comfortable and seals well. I like that once you put the snorkel in place, you don't really have to think about it any more. It stays where it belongs and you just breathe. The mask did not fog up for me. Detailed instructions are included in English, Spanish, German, and Chinese or maybe Japanese.

My old way of snorkeling is done. The mask with snorkel on the side was always a hassle. It was never comfortable. This mask solves that problem! It is very comfortable, fits perfectly, and the snorkel is built-in and unobtrusive. The snorkel works as described blocking water from entering when you dip under. Breathing feels more natural since you don't have to bit a mouthpiece. Optically, this mask is way better than regular snorkel masks. You get a full unobstructed view with plenty of area to let light in. The only thing to point out is that if you have a beard like I do, water will leak in but it's not the end of the world. Maybe if I tighten it more but it doesn't bother me. Oh yeah, and it comes with an action camera mount which you can take off if you don't need it. Overall, this is an outstanding pair of snorkeling masks and I highly recommend them.

Our grandkids tried these full face mask out in the pool. They had a little trouble in the beginning with them, but once they figured out how to properly use them, they loved them. I like how they don't leave marks or rings on the face! The eye site line is much better with the full face mask and it's just easier, and more fun compared to a regular face mask.
