After reading reviews and other comments about issues with CO2 and masks like these, I put this snorkel mask on for an hour while I worked at my desk at home. I also used a finger oximeter to measure blood oxygen during this time. I experienced no lightheadedness and my blood oxygen was always in the 93–97 range. There was no fogging during the whole time. After doing this test, I am not concerned about what others have mentioned as a CO2 build up situation. This mask directs exhaled air quickly and efficiently up and out. The mask was pretty comfortable. The only thing negative after wearing this snorkel mask at my desk for one hour was a very mild discomfort in my forehead area from the mask holding the seal. A few days later, I tried out this mask in a swimming pool. The mask was comfortable and easy to use in the swimming pool. No fogging, no leaking. It was easy to breathe while snorkeling. Again, no CO2 issues noticed. The mask’s valve automatically closes when under water preventing water from being inhaled. A nice feature. I’m very pleased with this mask and I look forward with anticipation to use this mask snorkeling in nature on vacation in Mexico. ... show more

My 8 year old had the best experience snorkeling for the first time with this mask. He had used goggles or a regular mask to swim with before but the full face mask was a game changer. He even kept the mask on while we were walking on the beach to a different snorkeling spot! It fogged up a bit from time to time but wasn’t hard to take off and clear when standing in the water. The ability to breathe through his nose and mouth combined with a good sized viewing window made snorkeling easier and so much more enjoyable. Never had any issues with leakage. Just make sure to try it on first- I ordered three different sizes and had him try them on at home before we left for Hawaii to make sure he had the right fit. ... show more
