Giving 4 stars because they work, the flickering issue doesn't happen often, and I'm glad to have these LEDs as replacement for the incandescent GU-style bulbs that came with our ceiling fans. Have had occasional problems with flickering, which usually goes away with dimming the lights a bit. These work perfectly in my ceiling fans, the bulbs are difficult to find, even the selection at the big box stores can be hit or miss. The light given off by these bulbs seems very natural and without the yellowish tint of most. I panic bought an extra box just incase after replacing my still working cfl bulbs with these due to how pleasing the light is in comparison. ... show more

The item ws as advertised and fast shipping. I have the right size as required. The pins that click into the base seem loose. When I put them in they didn't "lock" and were loose. Switched the light on and one bulb came on one did not. this is a two bulb syrem. Redid the bulbs and the "other" bulb came on the first one did not. Finally after fooling with them both seemed to work. Then wife turned them on while showering and turne them off when done. I came in turned them on and neither bulb came on. After tweaking them I think I have them where they both work. Will continue report as time goes on. I think the vibrations from the vent fan vibrated them loose. They seemed to be working at the time I am reporting this. ... show more

I moved into an apartment with these weird bulb-sockets. Both the bulbs over my bathroom sink (the ones that were there when I moved in) blew in the same weekend, and I hadn't been really happy with their lack of brightness and the orange/yellow cast they gave my skin and teeth and everything else. I felt like I wasn't able to see what I actually looked like getting ready to go out. I found these bulbs for a lot cheaper than they were available locally, and chose the "daylight" bulbs. The light is so clean, without a blue or a yellow cast. My makeup looks the same outside as it does in the mirror. They also just make my bathroom look bigger, more open, and just all-around more inviting. Definitely will buy these again. I haven't had them up long enough to say how long they last, but I'm going to buy more to put in the other fixtures in my apartment. Compared to the bathroom, all the other rooms seem orange-y yellow-ish (even more than before.) At this price, I can do the whole apartment (including the 2 I've already replaced) for under $30. (As far as ease of installation, I find this type of bulb a pain to install--especially if you're doing it up over your head where you can't see as well--but these are as easy as any of their type.) ... show more

I needed some GU24 bulbs. Before recently, I’ve never seen a bulb like this. So I ordered the wrong bulbs once. You’re gonna want to look at the base of your bulb, it should say what connection type it is on there somewhere. I got these because the price was right, they had Prime shipping, and reviews appeared good. I got these for my daughters house, so she could see in the shower. These are 50 or 60 watt incandescent style replacements, I don’t have them here in front of me so I don’t have all the info. They’re LED bulbs that draw significantly less wattage, 6 to 9 watts vs other bulbs, which are universally higher. They do tend to run a bit warm, and the amount of light they put off was ok at best. To be honest I just needed some inexpensive replacement bulbs and these got the job done. Although I know now you can get adapters, GU24 to E26, that make more sense in my opinion. But if you don’t have a lot of room, adapters won’t fit. Determining what socket a bulb uses when you don’t already have that bulb can be difficult. I had to research all this to even come across as informed in this review. Although I have been a bit of a light bulb enthusiast, if that’s even something you can be. So I do have a wide range of experience with lots of different bulb types and form factors. The TLDR is, so far, these have been decent replacements at a decent price.
