This book is awesome. One thing I love, is that it is a hardcover book with quality pages inside. I also love the animations and drawings that line every single page. It is fun and inviting for both the person writing and will be for my little one some day to read as well! I won't take photos of the questions themselves because I don't think that is fair for the writer, but I will give you an outline of the topics in case this doesn't work for your family. In addition to standard questions, there are some thought provoking writing prompts in the “Grandma’s Wisdom” section. Because some responses that could overlap, I typed out my answers so I could move things around. It’s definitely not something to be completed in a sitting or two.     • great for giving a life story to your grandkids
Format: Hardcover
asks questions about your life from when you were little to being grown up. Like did you ever do things that got you in trouble and what was it? What was the best things you remember about Christmas morning and what was it like on Christmas day what did you and your family do? It may not be all sunshine and roses but remember sun-burns and roses have thorns, so it's ok not to sugar coat things it leads to cavities, which hurt in the end. My play on words is real in life, I worked in Hospice for 50 years I saw so many families asking questions at the end when it was too late to get answers to those questions because the family member couldn't remember or simply couldn't talk. I would suggest to get this book or one like and sit down with the oldest member of the family who could tell you the answers to these questions before you want them and can't get them. ... show more

I got this for my Mom to fill in and then give back to my daughter. It it nicely written and designed. The pages are aesthetic and the paper is good quality. My Mom loved it and I know she will enjoy working on it. She also mentioned that she will probably have to talk to her sisters to remember some of the information which is cool because I am sure they will really enjoy remembering those things together! ... show more

This is a beautiful book! Large enough to write comfortably, thick pages that don't bleed, pretty pictures and color, hardcover, good writing prompts, handy envelope for storing memorabilia, etc. Excellent quality! Every grandma should get one! I purchased it for my grandmother and plan to give it to her for Mother's Day. My only complaint is that several pages in the very middle are damaged (which is the ONLY reason I didn't give it five stars). It arrived with several wrinkled and crumpled pages. My Gram has a pretty amazing story to tell about her life. I would always ask her questions regarding her life and upbringing etc. I was afraid i'd never remember it all enough to tell my future kids or nieces or nephews. So my birthday was coming around and I came across this book and LOVED the idea of it. So I gave her the book a few weeks before my birthday and asked if she could fill it out as my one and only gift that I'd ever want. Also because she always says she has nothing to do so I thought this could give her something to do everyday!
