I had a nail in my tire and had been lazy to go get it repaired. Just kept putting air every other day. Then came across and ad for this and looked easy enough. Best money ever spent. Its small enough to fit anywhere and so quick to use. Its designed for regular size tires not low profile ones, but it will still work. Just had to put a little elbow grease to get the metal sleeve in the tire but was still quick and easy took longer to jack up the car than to repair the hole. Instructions were super easy to follow anyone can use this. I'm buying one for every vehicle so my family won't have to be stranded because of a nail. It's been 3 days and no leaks so I'm happy. Now obviously it's just for standard nails and screws or small punctures. Won't work on wrench, rail road tie or wrench sized holes. I've seen all of these in tires I'm not exaggerating. So if you want a quality tire repair kit that won't break the bank and is easy to use then look no further.

It worked like a charm but I am dropping one star because of a design defect. The design defect is in the smooth surface of the stainless steel nozzle. The image description claims it's better than steel nozzle, but it's not because of the smoothness. When working on a tire that's sitting on the ground (because duh, you're working from home garage), you don't get enough angle to rotate the gun. So you have to use a plier (or strong fingers if you have those) to rotate the nozzle to tighten to the gun. If the nozzle is not tightened, the mushroom rubber plug won't go through the nozzle. I had to really wrestle hard with my plier to rotate it due to so smooth surface of the nozzle. Why would the manufacturer remove the good design of its own cheaper version of the product, it blows my mind. Go with the cheaper one and you'll be happy. I am still giving 4 stars because the tire is working fine now and the plug is holding up. The cutter knife included to cut off the excess plug was a nice touch.

Already had a use for this item. It repaired a slow leak tire, on our horse trailer. I pulled the nail, after preparing the kit. It was easy to use and the tire is still holding air, about one month later.

I tried it for the first time. I am using the gun model. I loaded the mushroom. Inserted the nozzle all the way in the tire hole. Pulled out the Gun and the entire damn mushroom plug came completely out. I did it three times. All three times the damn mushroom was stuck on the Gun and was pulled out completely. Meaning it didn’t plug “JACK!” I was a rookie being it was my first time using it. I think what I should have done was after I injected the mushroom plug with the insert gun I should have released the gun pressure. That may have released the grip on the mushroom and it may have worked. I’ll update the next time. I had to resort back to my highly reliable, highly trusted old fashion patch kit. It never fails! I hope to have success with this on the second go round.

I purchased this tool with a bit of skepticism. More often than not I have been disappointed of many tools and gadgets that I find on Amazon. This one, however, did exactly as promised. At first I had a bit of difficulty using the tool, and then I discovered the instructions manual. Simple and straightforward instructions. I got my tires repaired in no time. This is definitely a keeper for me. I highly recommend this tool.
