This rocking chair exceeds my expectations. I was hesitant when I read reviews of others having problems with installation. I was sure to only tighten 80% until directions said to finish tightening 100%, and I didn’t have any problems. I can see how bolts wouldn’t go in if everything was fully tightened from the jump. It took me about 45 min to assemble. The cushion is definitely very full and comfortable. I’m 6 ft and 230 lbs and this chair feels plenty large for me, very comfortable to sit in it with legs up and crossed. Photos don’t do it justice on how big it is. I ordered one of these chairs and immediately bought a second for my husband because we loved it that much. The design is sleek and fits perfectly with an industrial, farmhouse, or boho aesthetic. Assembly was fairly easy, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. The cushions are very comfortable and have held up well outdoors. They’ve even gotten rained on a couple of times when rain blew onto the porch, and they dried quickly and were good as new by the next day. These chairs are roomy and practical—comfortable enough for lounging, and they easily fit a mom and a child sitting together as well. As a plus-size woman, I also really appreciate that the seating is supportive and accommodating without feeling tight or restrictive and I still get that comfortable cozy feel all around while sitting in these chairs. Overall, these have become our go-to spot for sunny mornings and relaxing evenings with a book or a cold drink. I set this up this Spring, and it is my absolute favorite place to go and get away. It really comfortable and roomy enough for me (I am 6 feet tall) to get really comfortable. A couple things to consider - the pad is giant and thick; it needs to be taken inside if there is going to be a lot of rain, and it's pretty heave. ***UPDATE*** I contacted the seller and they quickly responded back to me. They kindly offered either a full refund or a replacement. I chose to receive a replacement since I loved the chair so much. The replacement chair did not have the same flaw and worked perfectly fine. Changed rating to 5 stars! ***PREVIOUS REVIEW***: Really disappointed. Impossible to assemble. The rocker base could not be assembled according to the instructions because the holes did not line up at all. After multiple attempts, the only way to complete the assembly was to reverse the rocker base. Once assembled this way, the chair became excessively reclined and sits much farther back than shown in the product photos. I contacted the seller and am waiting for a response, but based on my experience, there appears to be a manufacturing or quality control issue with the parts I received. For the price, I expected the holes to align properly and the chair to match the advertised design. ... show more
