🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The mixed reviews on this paint sprayer reveal a product that, while offering a professional finish and ease of paint application for some users, falls short for others due to its unreliable performance. With reports of the device heating up and shutting down after a short use, poor spray quality, and a tendency to malfunction after only a few uses, potential buyers face a gamble. One user found success and praised the sprayer's efficiency and finish, underscoring the importance of thorough instruction-following and meticulous preparation and clean-up. However, the majority of feedback highlights significant durability and performance issues.

Pros

  • 🎨 Professional finish
  • 🖌 Easier and faster than using brushes and rollers
  • ⏱ Dries quickly
  • ✅ Ideal for small projects

Cons

  • 🔥 Prone to overheating and shutting off
  • 🛠 Requires extensive setup and cleanup
  • 🎨 Small paint container necessitates frequent refills
  • ⚙ Poor durability; tends to malfunction after a few uses
  • 🚫 Inconsistent spray performance with tendency for paint to run

Should I Buy It?

If consistency, reliability, and longevity in a paint sprayer are top priorities for you, this product may be a gamble. The high risk of malfunction and performance issues, as highlighted by a majority of users, might outweigh the benefits of a professional finish and ease of use provided by this sprayer. Those considering a purchase should weigh the potential for short-term success against the reported long-term failures.

  • Good Buy
Style: Gun
There are some bad reviews for this product and i am not sure why. This paint sprayer works great. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and some may not know how to use properly or may get defective ones but our experience is great and so glad we got it! Very easy to use. Easy to clean.

  • Wouldn’t even spray
Style: Gun
I purchased the TrueCoat 360 Single Coat (26D280) by Graco, and it wouldn’t even spray. I followed all setup instructions, used properly prepared paint, and the unit still failed to work. No spray, just frustration. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this product to anyone. ... show more

  • Good Small Job Sprayer
Style: Gun
I bought this sprayer to handle some small jobs using less than 1 gallon of paint. Out of the box it worked perfectly and gave me a great smooth finish. It is critical to follow directions for clearing air from the paint canister and priming the gun before switching to spray. I used both the wide and narrow spray tips. They delivered a nice even coat. Overlapping by 50% is needed but that is typical for any spray work. Also expect overspray so cover anything not to be painted within 5-6 feet. Again that is typical for using any airless or HVLP sprayer. Cleaning is easy but requires a little hand scrubbing to clean the canister liners and the intake to the gun. ... show more

  • Drips, when painting above the painting area, you need to clean(wipe) the tip constantly.

  • Mixed review on this sprayer
Style: Gun
After a considerable amount of research, I bought this sprayer to paint our kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately it never made it that far. During the clean up after the inaugural trial run, something happened with the motor and it seemed to have locked up. Returned it with no problem so I appreciate that. Things I liked: Clear instructions. Really like that they are laminated so they will last in the environment that you will be using them. Several steps to the process and you definitely need to read them ahead of time as well as when you setting up/cleaning the sprayer. Comfortable grip/easy to handle while painting. The flip tip to backwash/clear the spray tip is an interesting/unique feature to this sprayer. There is no siphon tube so you can paint upside down or any angle that you need to be in. Things that weren't great: It is noisy. I had read that in the reviews so I expected it. Accurate compared to other sprayers. Difficult to do small jobs because you you need to fill the paint holder to reduce the amount of air in the holder prior to priming. Its doable but you have to squeeze as much of the air as you can out before priming the sprayer. That part was not clear in the otherwise thorough instructions. One of the reasons I bought this sprayer was because you are supposed to be able to spray without thinning the paint. I was spraying a latex and ended up thinning by 10% to reduce spits. Biggest negative, besides it failing, is that there is no control on the amount of paint it sprays. Knew that I couldn't control the amount of paint when I purchased it but now that I have purchased another sprayer with flow control, that is a game changer for me. Since there is no paint "cup" reservoir, there is not an easy way to protect the paint between coats since you will need to clean the sprayer while waiting. With the sprayer I bought to replace this one, I bought a second paint reservoir with a lid so that I can seal the paint and use the second reservoir to run the cleaner through the sprayer to clean it. Clean up isn't bad. There is more to it than the current sprayer that I bought. If you are doing big jobs and not worried about getting a "perfect" finish like I am on our kitchen cabinets, this sprayer will probably work great for you. ... show more

  • Exactly as expected

Worked perfectly out of the box. Just make sure you follow the instructions for preparing the unit for first use. I tried the Harbor Freight equivalent which was an utter disaster (long story) and paid more for it. Go with the Graco

  • Do not buy this product
Style: Gun
this is the worst product I have ever had the misfortune of buying. It is not user friendly and is a mess to can use. The priming of the pump can be extremely messy. HATED IT! If 0 stars were an option I would rate it "0"
