I recently called my local paint store to order one. I had a huge project to paint all the wood trim to white. I couldn't see brushing 20 doors, 10 windows. All the crown and extension jambs. I heard a 7.0 wont spray latex unthinned. I was hesitant to buy the next step of the stand 9.0. So I said screw it may as well see if this 9.5 can do what is says it can. Well it exceeded expectations. I'm using thick as hell bonding primer and it does it under 50 percent capacity. It does latex paint running at 30. Once you dial it in you can put a mirror finish with latex paint and old trim and doors . I didnt want to spend 2I this week but this thing will be on my mantle cleaned up after I'm done at this job. The 30ft hose is great because you can keep the power unit in another room or outside and keep the thing in pristine condition Update the flexible air hose has a leak in it around a factory crimped fitting. Tried contacting for a replacement hose. You can only get call from an India based call center spotty service. Either they cant hear you or you cant hear them. The machine runs great but for 2200 I expect a machine to work more than a day. Yea I can buy a new hose and fix it. But if I cant get any help after 3 calls it will be returned and purchased from a local company regardless of cost.

What I like about this unit is it atomizes the paint very fine ,it is easy to set up and the auto shutoff and on feature is great. I am a Pro Painter and I am impressed with the Unit I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality well built HVLP Sprayer.

Amazing sprayer

We use the Graco 9.5 in a small wood shop producing furniture and cabinetry. We compared this unit with all the others on the market. The 9.5 is all metal and has automotive type intake air filters. It has more than enough power to spray heavy latex paint without thinning. The Edge II Plus gun is just great. (TIP: get all of the available tips and needles, you'll use them all). This gun has all the adjustability to let you fine tune the spray pattern. This gun also sprays upside down. WOW! I got a second gun right away. One for water based coatings and one for oil based coatings. We now spray poly acrylic varnish. Previously we either brushed or wiped on varnish. This was problematic especially on large table and island tops. You could not work fast enough to stay ahead then go back and "tip" the wet edge. With the Graco gun the problem is eliminated. The tops finish as smooth as glass. No runs, drips or sags. We now also add more coats than before. Customers tend to inhale all the air in the shop when they see the finished top. Most just say, "OMG". ( we charge a little more for the OMGs, just kidding). This system is a highly engineered product designed for practical and easy usage. Easy clean-up. The turbine unit only runs when the gun trigger is pulled. What an idea. If you're a contractor or a wood shop like me, buy one you will not regret it. Like all good equipment, it ends up being money in the pocket.

I am not a professional painter but I'm on a tight budget and not afraid to learn. I purchased this sprayer to paint my own very large kitchen. I read everything I could online, consulted my local paint dealer and with a little bit of practice, I was able to lay out a gorgeous, smooth, sprayed finish. This machine was very easy to use and did an amazing job. Graco even calls you to check on how the machine is performing and to answer any questions.
