Beautiful but fit not as pictured

I wanted this as an open sweater which I can do with it however the bust shaping in the XL hangs almost to my waist. I'm 5'4" 165 lb. I have slightly broad shoulders so that part fits well and I like the fullness in the sleeves but I might try it in a L to see if the shaping fits any better. it's a beautiful soft sweater.
