I purchased this cardigan in the Crimson Red (medium ... my normal size). The fit was spot on (I am 5'7", 140 lbs). It was so flattering and comfortable that I purchased another in the burgundy / wine. The color, again, was an accurate description. It is not "light weight," though, if that is what you are looking for. it is more of a medium sweater weight, which is fine with me, as it will be quite comfortable for spring and fall wear, too. A very well made item that washes well. (I put it in a laundry bag to dry a bit, and then into the dryer after removing it from the bag.). Then take it out and hang to finish drying. ... show more

Lovely sweater...sleeves are ample...end at the wrist like they should with room to bend your elbow...mid thigh length...nice pockets...nice weight...lovely dark navy blue...I am 5'4"...weigh 145 pounds...a wee bit bottom heavy thanks to my European ancestry...I ordered a Large and it is a decent fit...might could have gone with an XL...sleeves might have been longer than I cared for...love the sweater as is and keeping it. ... show more

Things I love about this sweater are the color (cadet blue, I think), and the soft feel of the fabric. I originally ordered a L as per the sizing chart. Too, too big, but it was easy to return for a M. The L covered my mid section (5'4, 175 lbs.), but the length and the sleeves were way too long. The M doesn't cover as well in the mid section, but is shorter in overall length, though the sleeves are still a bit long. I usually wear more slouchy and blousy things, so I'm keeping it but just wanted to clarify that the sizing (for me) was a bit wonky. I'm planning on using it as a layering piece and am hoping to find it works well in moderate to mild weather as we're planning on a vacation to a locale with that kind of temperature zone.
