We live on 40 plus acres of land, mostly wooded. Was looking for a good collar for our dog that would allow her to have some freedom. Was a bit hesitant of this type of collar considering how many trees we have around. Glad I took the chance with this collar. We just turned it to beep only during training. Had her regular collar on her as well and leash and a pocket full of treats. Every time the collar beeped we just pulled her back fast, and gave treats and told her what a good girl she was (I mean, because she IS a very good girl) after doing this off and on for a few minutes the first day, the next day we switched it to vibrate with the beep. No shocking. As soon as she heard the beep, she remembered and ran back wards. The vibration didn’t even have a chance to go off. So once we were completely comfortable that she knew what to do, we let her loose. . Still with just beep and vibration, no shock. Let me tell you, that’s all it took. First time we didn’t go backwards and the collar just vibrated on her, she came running. From then on, as soon as she hears the beep, she runs for me. So glad I didn’t have to adjust it to shock on her. Anyhow, even with all the trees the collar still shows usually 10 satellites at minimum for our area. When she gets more in the open that count goes up. So, no loss of signal so far. Very impressed by this collar and I love that there is no monthly subscription for this one like some of the others. I also love that there is a memory settings on this where if we take her some where new, we can set it to that area, and when we come home, just push of a button and it auto sets it to our home area.

Got a new pup that we wanted to keep in the yard so we bought gps collar. Fully charged it, took forever to pick up any satellites, finally put it on the dog she ran out of her set boundary and the collar beeped, vibrated, and mild shock as it said it would do. We were happy with our purchase for a few minutes until we realized it wouldn't stop beeping, vibrating, or shocking even when she was well away from the boundary set. I powered it off and started the whole process again. Now it beeps no matter where she is in the yard. And we noticed that wherever she is in the yard and it loses the satellite signal and starts over, that's where her "new" home base boundary starts. Seems like a great idea but I think it needs some work on keeping a signal and being a more dependable device. Definitely would not recommend or purchase again.

Bought this for my LGD who works 5 acres for our 27. Originally got a Halo but it didn’t work because of lack of cell phone reception. This collar works off of satellite and I have yet to have an issue with it. What nice is when I move the herd she is working I can readjust the center point for her radius very simply. The waterproof of the collar is also very good she swims daily in out creek. Overall very happy with it. I only wish I could adjust the setting other than on the collar itself.

I have successfully used this company’s GPS activated collar with our forever hungry Chocolate Labrador who started wondering the neighborhood for goodies. This device absolutely stopped this behavior and kept our dog always within the defined area surrounding our home. We never had to use the electric shock function as he quickly responded to the beep function alone and accordingly keep the included rubber caps over the electrodes. We also used the collar on family vacations by resetting the parameters to the new locations. The user manual is helpful and easy to understand in managing the device. We were fortunate in having briefly trained our lab to a beeping collar when a puppy so it took no effort to find him responsive to the beep warning five years later. The user manual explains how to use the device without any prior training. We have used this device for over two years without problems but updated to the newer version for its desirable improvements and ease of programing. GPS reception and battery life have never been a problem for us. The only drawback (not really a problem) is to remember to remove the collar when going for a walk or drive away from home to avoid the device’s warning going off outside the programmed radius. The simplicity of this effective device avoids needing a hard wired boundary or fence to limit wandering and made our life as a responsible pet owners so much easier.

So far it’s pretty decent, our only complaint would be the battery life. It lasts about two days, other than that it does as it says. Our dog likes to wander down the road and play with the neighbors dog, it’s the other neighbor that has chickens that is the issue. She doesn’t mess with ours but anyone else’s seems to be fair game in her eyes, she can litterally climb a four foot chain link fence so the kennel was a nogo. We had a traditional dog collar but setting there watching and trying to catch her was not happening so we opted for this one. If you don’t mind charging it every two days religiously then it should work for ya.

This DOGOITM GPS Wireless Dog Fence, Electric Fence Collar works great. I would highly recommend it. Your dog can be kept safe on your property, off of the nearby roads, away from a neighbor's livestock in rural areas, etc. I would highly recommend it.

This device is super inconsistent. You can set up your parameter and do the test and it will work great. Even when you lock your settings, once you take it inside and remove it from the dogs neck, the next time you go outside it takes a solid 5-6 minutes for it to find the nearest GPS (that is a lot of time if you have a dog that bolts). Then the parameter is completely different and the collar will start beeping at the dog even though he is in a safe zone. You basically have to reset the center of your parameter every time to let the dog go outside if you want it to be consistent and not confuse your dog on where they are allowed to go. I'm returning the item cause it is actually more of a bother than a time saver.
