    • Perfect travel drone for the price!!!
I bought the G9 Drone for a weekend trip to the lake and honestly it exceeded what I expected for the price. Out of the box the foldable design and the padded carry case made it super easy to toss in my bag , setup was straightforward (app pairing + a quick compass calibration) and I was up in the air in under 10 minutes. The 4K camera with the 120° wide angle captured sweeping shots of the shoreline that looked way better than I figured they would on a budget drone; I used the tilt button on the controller a few times to get low/high perspectives and the footage was surprisingly steady for casual clips. The GPS features (Follow-Me and Auto-Return) are real time-savers: I used Follow-Me while biking along the trail and it kept a clean lock without drifting off, and the return home worked exactly when I tested the RTH on low battery. I flew using both included batteries in my flights I averaged about 18–22 minutes per battery depending on how much I pulled aggressive maneuvers, so the two batteries together gave me a nice chunk of flying time for a day out. The brushless motors felt noticeably less buzzy than the cheap brushed motors I’ve used before, and the remote’s built-in display made it easy to keep an eye on distance and battery at a glance. If you’re a beginner or someone who wants a portable, under-249g drone for travel and quick aerial shots, the G9 is a really solid value , good camera for social clips, reliable GPS features, and a compact package that I actually enjoyed carrying and flying. This drone has been fantastic for both a beginner like me and my kids. The 4K camera quality is excellent, and having the HD screen right on the controller makes flying so much easier without needing to rely on a phone. The GPS auto-return and follow-me modes work perfectly, and it’s been very stable even in light winds. The battery life is solid, and the extra battery is a huge plus. This thing is amazing. When I opened it, I was worried because it felt flimsy. (I guess this is to help keep the weight down under 250g for FAA restrictions) But that definitely deceived me. It flies extremely well, And is super easy to control. The GPS functions work extremely well, and the battery life is accurate. And it's under the weight limits, so you don't need to register for a license. I don't know why some of the reviewers said they couldn't get replacement blades, I've seen them available by the same mfr and the drone itself comes with spares. I think my only complaint is that the camera quality transmitted to your phone isn't as good as some of the major brands, but it's definitely usable. I've been using it to try and figure out where the squirrels are getting into my house from. ... show more

It is fun to fly. Pictures and vid are good. The controller when paired with my phone app work well. But one of the main reasons I picked this one was because of the 40 min flight time.
