Once installed, the product works better and seems stronger than the stock grab handles or other brands of the same design. And they look great. The wrap around “grip” is also comfortable and reversible. Install in the front was easy, but the rear install on a hard too is something I’ve yet to figure out. In short, the soft top hardware interferes with the way it wraps around the roll bar. I assumed they would work on all 4 doors since I bought the 4-pack.

This is a nice product. Easy to install and to figure out how to install, please ignore the reviews who say it was difficult, they must be missing brain cells. I have a JL, and the passenger side can not use the flashlight pouch due to the thickness of the roll bar. The straps itnslips into end too up, around the top of the roll bar. No big deal, but wasn't stated in anything I've read. They do "fold out of the way" but they easily fall down when you drive over moderate bumps. I have a spiderweb shade installed, you have to undo the elastic straps of the shade, install the grab bar, then reattack overtop of the grab bar sleeve. Annoying, but understandable. Several areas of frayed string on the straps of one grab bar. Cut them off but still, where's a little quality control. Other than that great quality, looks awesome (way better than any cloth strap, and feels pretty secure. UPDATE: they will burn the hell out of your hands when in the hot Jeep (top and windows up) for a while. Even if you use the ugly Velcro padding your knuckles can get burned on the top. Be careful.

I was hesitant when ordering these as there seemed to be a lot going on with material and pouches. When I opened the package I was immediately impressed with the function/design, material and quality workmanship. Install on my Gladiator was straight forward and simple, no directions needed. The end result was very clean, tight, and, for grab handles, very sturdy. Handles fold up and stay up which is one of the main reasons I went with these. It's refreshing when everything makes sense, has a purpose, and fits like it should.

The media could not be loaded. I really like these grab handles. The fact that they're metal sets them apart from many other options. I was expecting them to be a bit thicker (and they'd be more comfortable if they were), but they're plenty strong. They do come with padded covers which make them thicker and more comfortable, but I ended up taking them off after a while. The orange matches the accent color on my Jeep well! Putting them on is fairly straightforward, but it does take a minute to figure out exactly how they go together.
