Hard to find an actual gunshot trauma kit but this one seems to have most things necessary to save your life until you can get professional medical help. It has tourniquet, it’s got deals for sucking chest wounds (in case of collapsed lung), it’s got a splint on case of a bone break and fits very well w/it’s molle attachment right onto my vest. For the price it’s a great starter pack, has multiple straps to keep it closed while running for your life. I’m impressed with it and can add on extra tourniquets or whatever else you think you kay need to be prepared & weighs only a pound or two. All in all exactly what I was looking for because I’m quite concerned that we are going to wind up in WW3 thanks to that doddering old fool in the White House. ... show more

This kit comes with just about everything you could ask for in a trauma situation, based on my research and limited experience. Pretty much everything is from reputable brands with years of experience. Extra loop fabric sewn up top makes it easy to add additional patches if desired. In my case, I added a blood type and allergies patch. I appreciate the extra molle webbing on front as well, which could prove useful for hooking a small carabineer with a medicine bottle or something else of minimal weight. However, even after taking the time to arrange the kit, there's just too many steps to get it open. Two zippers must be lowered independently, and a large buckle over the front that seems to serve no purpose but is too long to leave undone. The inside also unfolds into 3 parts, nice to see but also making it a tight fit unless you remove one of the bulkier items. I opted to take out the splint as I should always have access to a hospital within a day from anywhere I'll need it. And I'll likely just cut off the excess strap. ... show more

Ok so I don't do too many reviews, but this I had to comment on. I am a former Boy Scout and EMT. I worked in the Emergency Room for 6 years. Only mention that to assure you I take first-aid somewhat seriously. So much so in-fact, that I find myself needing to build my own FAK's. Not a huge deal, but it's a lot of buying individual things, getting the quantity right, then finding a suitable container to put it all in that will withstand years in a daily driving vehicle. I have searched on here before, for ready-made kits, just to reduce the amount of manual steps I have to take. Sadly, all the kits I find are either A) grossly overpriced for the contents, or B) sadly lacking things I would like, or C) both. This kit surprisingly checked ALL the boxes. -Well priced, -Complete trauma kit, -packaged securely - excellent container (pliable, heavy duty, easy to operate), -no abundance of useless/poor quality stuff I would throw away anyway (I did not throw a single item out of this kit), -a small amount of room for add-ons. If I would change anything about this kit, it would be the size of the container. It would be great to have just a LITTLE bit more extra room for add additional stuff (minor wound care, some odds and ends). But not enough it changes my 5-star review. I didn't log in here to post this, I logged in to buy a second one for my daughters car. ... show more
