They look stylish and very good on my counter. The bigger knives all cut well. However, those steak knives (and ironically that’s why I bought this set) don’t seem to cut well. It shreds meat rather than cutting it. I thought the serrated part of the blade would come in handy but it totally doesn’t. Big knives good, steak knives stink. This is an excellent set of knives/accessories for your kitchen. I wasn't sure what to expect, but honestly this is the best set of knives I've every owned. I love that the steak knives have both straight and serrated parts so you can easily cut through a variety of meat cuts easily whether it's raw or cooked. The set looks great on my countertop and I've used pretty much every single knife, and some of them multiple times a week since purchasing this set.
